How do you feel about (optional) yearly subscriptions? (Patreon)

Patreon has an feature (that I haven't activated) that would allow new and existing patrons to pay for a year of membership ahead of time, at a discounted price. Basically 12 months for the price of 10. How do you feel about this? Turning this option on would not affect anyone's current membership.

No strong view. This platform is more about supporting creative folk than a fee for service type of thing, so a yearly discount is a bit weird - especially since pretty much all QB stuff is available for free or a couple of $

I'm here to support your content, not get discounts on my support. This seems like a feature that's best for subscription services for regularly released features - such as a 3d printing model service that provides a monthly model set.

I'm also here for content support, but since I also have to pay an extra 20% VAT, I'd be happy to get a bit of leeway in the form of a yearly discount.. Also there's nothing mandatory in opting for a yearly sub, so any of the previous commenter could still choose not to.
