This is a new mod that bypasses the 100 rental unit limit.
Currently I've set the limit to 250. This might be increased in time as more is learned about any potential consequences to going beyond 100.

This mod completed a week long beta test and did not receive any reports of issues. However, discretion is still advised when using this mod as the For Rent system is still relatively unknown territory. Backup saves you care about, just in case.

Notes:

  • Enables 250 rental units per save.
  • Enables placing rental lots from the gallery up to 250 units.
  • Units on a single lot are still limited to 100.
  • You still need to enter the 'bb.increaserentalunitcap on' cheat to exceed 6 units on any single lot.

Install Instructions:

1. Open the zip file below and drag the Tmex-MoreRentals.package to your Mods folder.

2. Your save's rental caps will automatically be bumped to 250 max.

Thank you! I was so confident I wouldn’t get anywhere near 100 even spread across all the worlds. I think I have around 150ish (all different kinds of setups from traditional apartments to townhouses to rented basements to a village collective in Sulani). It added up quick.

Has anyone successfully built 9+ units in a single residential rental lot? Whenever i do this i get loads of orange and green error exclamation marks above random lots in random worlds? When i scale it back to 9 units in a single lot these errors go away?

Ok does anyone have a issue with their Tomarang place not loading?? mines a blank white page UGH my sims did a update and I put the more rentals in... I took more rentals out to see if that made a difference and it didnt any other suggestions??

If you have onedrive make sure it's not syncing your mods folder. It has a habit of putting old mods back in

hi not sure i understand the single lot rule, so to cheat the system i need to place all rentals from the gallery instead of making them myself?

No it just means don't put more than 100 on a single lot. Spread them across multiple lots.

I have a 16 unit of studios but to be honest I haven't played in it and every tenant I placed in it has been from manage worlds, not EA's "fill vacancy" feature. I always get a lag in build mode when I cheat out more than 6 units on a lot. And I do get random XXXXXs whenever I visit my Sulani lots and sometimes in Tomerang too. But I don't know if that's MODs or EA.

Probably not, there's an EA bug regardless of this mod that is currently corrupting save files. Seemingly the trigger is using the cheat to put more than 6 units on any single lot.

Thanks for flagging - I've had the same issue popping up, not so far placed more than 6 on one lot... Any idea if this has happened with any other mod users?

Yes it's a very common issue, mods, no mods, more rentals, no more rentals. For Rent is just not stable right now unfortunately
