Going to be short here as I have errands, will detail it more with the official release.

This is mainly for builders currently as it comes with some quirks, such as not being able to route using ocean ladders (working on it) and sims walking under water on the lot. Swim interactions still work fine outside of the lot boundaries. Pool floats should be placed from sims inventory to avoid frustration trying to get it on the water level.

In many cases you'll need to clear the lot before basements will be allowed to be placed, and just like my SecretLab buildbuy, if the lot has already been visited in that save, you'll need to start a new save for changes to take effect.

I'll be back later for any questions you might have. Enjoy :)

Edit: Correction, ocean ladders DO currently work, but only if they're as close to the edge of the lot as possible. (so that the sim gets dropped off lot after climbing/jumping down) Like I said, I'm working hard to get these working entirely :)

So, now that my head is done exploding from all the awesome..THANK YOU! I was so bummed out when I realized we couldn't have either of those on the water lots. And you just swoop on in and save the day! <3

Hey TM, Not sure if this is something you are aware of but Canoes no longer place in the "placed on water" state. They are up on their stilts no matter where you place them on the lot. Not sure if this is a bug or a quirk.

See my note about placing them from inventory. If I can fix it, I will but it's not an easy task.

I assume here that the lots in question for basements, are near a body of water? There are a couple of lots on dry land, like the shipwreck that has a "basement" Can you build on basements that are on dry land?

TwistedMexi

Yes the landlocked lots have terrain tools, basements and pools, but coastal ones don't. This adds it
