How this Patreon Campaign works (Patreon)

Hello, Hexxet here,

This is a new post trying to explain how the Tiers and Archive Access work. Nothing has changed compared to the old explanation post. I'm just trying to summarize the content in a better way with more direct links and I added some charts to lighten up the text (Woohooo Charts! ^^)... still lots of text though... sorry^^.

Welcome to my Patreon campaign, thank you for joining! This post is  supposed to answer questions about my Patreon campaign and give you an  overview of the content available with your membership.

Every month I create five 3D-Comic/Chapters. One of those will always be the continuation of my long-run main story. (Currently, that is "The lost Temple"). The other four stories are usually disconnected stand-alone comics or short series. In addition, each month, I also create four PAIs (POV Comics with AI-generated graphics). Sometimes the PAIs of a month get replaced by a single but much longer PAI-Book.

• As Enthusiasts, you will get access to the monthly main story chapter and the Enthusiast Story of the month.
• As Afficionados, you will get access to the monthly main story chapter, the Enthusiast Story and the Afficionado Story of the month.
• As Connoisseurs, you will get access to all five 3D Comics of the current month.
• As PAI Supporters (or higher), you will get access to all five 3D Comics and all four PAIs of the current month.

You can access the 3D Comics here in the Patreon feed by scrolling down or using the Collections but I'd advise you to use the homepage because some stuff (like archive access or PAIs) is only available there.

How to use the homepage:

First step:  Login to the Homepage by pressing the "CONNECT YOUR PATREON" Button on the member-area page. (If the button is not there then you are still connected from a previous session)

After allowing Patreon to connect you can start accessing the content. The Main Stories can be accessed here on the homepage:

The PAIs can be found here:

Please note that your monthly membership only grants access to the side comics of the current time period. Older comics get archived after about a month. (Exceptions are some multi part stories where older parts are left open until the story is complete). [The Main Story and the PAIs are NOT archived and can be accessed in full with a corresponding Tier]

Archive Access

Every month you are subscribed to my Patreon will add to your "Life-Time-Support" which will unlock Archived Months. Unlocking works in comic release order starting with Septmber.2021. Each month needs 12€* to unlock. So, for example, each month as a Connoisseur or three months as an Enthusiast will also unlock one month of the archive.

* The first four months are lower and can be unlocked faster. (4,9,9,10)

If you take a yearly membership of any Tier the amount is added to your Life-Time-Support instantly and the archive will be unlocked accordingly.

The standard archive can be accessed via the normal comic section on the homepage, but you need to start from behind: Comic-Section-Last-Page

If you have purchased the "Time Bundle - EVERYTHING" you have instant access to all comics ever created but you need to access them in this section of the homepage.

Gumroad

I'm also selling my comics and PAIs on Gumroad. There you can buy my comics on a single-purchase basis or in the form of packages. If you are interested in most of my content, the Patreon is usually the better deal. But if you are only interested in certain topics (like mannequins for example) then you are probably better off just buying those comics that interest you.

Also, if you do not like 3D-Comics and only want the PAIs on a monthly basis you are better off at Gumroad as well.

How do you unlock the Member Content on the homepage?

Use the "Connect with Patreon" Button on the Member's Page, then navigate to the content you want to access. (Note that there are "Unlock with Patreon" Buttons on the content pages as well, but those might not work for you if you downgraded or canceled your subscription.) If you need a more detailed description there is one here on my homepage.

I've just signed up or increased my support but can't access the expected archive posts?

Life-Time-Support takes time to settle with the Patreon App. Please try again in 24 hours. If the problem persists, write me a massage and I will look into it.

Can I somehow find out my life-time-support value?

Not really. I have asked Patreon support, there is currently no way for a Patron to find out that number for a Creator. But, you can go through the archive on my homepage from back to front, and the first comic post you find you can not access you are 0.01 to 12€ away from it.

If you do want to know your exact life-time-support value for some reason you can write me a message and I will tell you.

Why is my life-time-support value lower than expected?

Note that the amount you pay contains TAX (if applicable in your country). TAX does not add to life-time-support. Furthermore, if you are paying in a different Currency than €, Patreon subtracts a 2.5% exchange rate. Also, life-time-support for my campaign is given in €, so the Patreon currency exchange rates for that day apply. (Don't ask me how to find those rates, I do not know myself :C). If you still think something is wrong with your life-time-support value write me a message and I will take a look at your case.

Will I be able to access comics that came out during my subscription period once the current month is over?

Sadly the Patreon Plugin is lacking in this department and this is not possible. With your current membership you do have access to the latest (up to 4 comics for Connoisseur Tier). With every new comic that comes out, the oldest one is archived.

PS: Life-Time-Support Archive Access is not implicated by this problem. Months unlocked via life-time-support will stay unlocked for you.

When I try to access some comics I'm redirected to Custom Pledge Signup, even though I'm already a member.

If you downgraded or canceled your subscription and try to use an "Unlock with Patreon" button this might happen. Try using the "Connect with Patreon" Button on the Member's Page. If it still happens you might be trying to access an archived comic. Older comics are archived and can only be unlocked with life-time-support. The Patreon Plugin is redirecting you to the custom pledge form because it does not know what to do. (See also "How to access stories from BEFORE the current month?"). If you think that you should be able to view the comics according to the above rules, then please contact me and I'll try to analyze the problem at hand.

Why is there an archive? Why can't I just access everything with the membership?

Cause creating these comics is a lot of work and I'm at it for over 2 years now. Giving all that away for a one time ~13€ payment is a bit much to ask! Every month I create 60 pages of main story content + 4 Side Story Comics. That's not even 3€ per Comic. In addition (until you have caught up with the archive) you also unlock 4 additional stories in the archive. It is a good deal if you are interested in most of my content.
