Let's talk about the temple (Patreon)

Hello, Hexxet here,

You probably have already seen the new cover I'm using. It's themed after the new Main Story which is called "The lost Temple" or TlT for short ;). Above you can see a pinup version of the cover, depicting several characters of the cast and the struggles of the protagonist  as he needs to make a choice that could influence the faith of the  world... so no biggy! Take your time Mika! :)

The lost temple will be a story about Mikael Valdes, a young archeology student who stumbles upon a world of magic and demons! While I intend to include funny moments throughout the story (it's just my way of writing I guess), this story is written with the intention of being more serious than Office Party. Though, on the other side it's much more fantasy like as there will be real magic instead of hypnosis.

About the pace of the story:

Well... while in Office Party the hypnotic suggestions where introduced right at the beginning, The lost Temple will start out more slowly in that manner, as Mika is a run of the mil Joe without any special abilities. He first needs to acquire and learn magic in order to turn from a zero into a mind control spell slinging super villain... Also, there is a huge world to build and a lot of characters to introduce. And while I will try to speed the story progression up (in comparison to my original game idea), this will take up some time. However, I do hope to deliver to you an interesting story that does include sexy bits, even in these dark times where out protagonist can not use any world breaking spells ;).

That being said, I had to rewrite the first chapter three times until I was satisfied... It still contains a lot of text and dialogue to get this story going, but I think I got it right now :).

About the origins of The lost Temple:

This story was born in my mind with the intention of creating a game. But game creation turned out quite complicated as I always wanted more details everywhere and more options and different paths... and it just blew up in my face ^^. So, now it will be a comic :). While the original idea had three different paths to go, there will only be one story branch in the comic. But next to the main story path there is a lot of room for extra scenarios once the protagonist has amassed enough knowledge and power. I do plan to have users vote on scenarios in the future of this comic to decide which side branch options are explored and which not.

Timetable and structure of this story

Please note that only the start date is fixed. All other days are very very very EXTREMELY very bad estimates :)

21.03.2023... Start of the story.

20.09.2023?... Estimated date of Side Branching opening up including

A.) Optional chapters that show Mikael's adventures on various missions for the two different parties clashing in this story. I plan to have votes on these chapters and their outcome. By either helping one or the other faction Mika will gain different benefits... though I still have to think about that closer :)

B.) Mika's personal adventures: Mika uses his magic powers on people in the world to:

• Help them
• get revenge on them
• get them into bed! (if they are female)

????... Possible start of the Endgame

???? + 3-4 months... Expected End of Story

... Depending on how you guys like the optional adventures and story branching it can take a while or be rather fast, before we then enter the endgame to decide the faith of the world... Please note that I have a very specific Ending in mind, so there will be no votes on how this comic will end and there are no parallel endings planned (yet). However, according to previous votes in the side story paths, the endgame might be achieved/reached in different ways. I have to see about that when the side story paths start :)

All in all, assuming the side branching thingy will be a hit, I would estimate this story to have a runtime of about two years until it is finished.

Releasing:

There will be daily posts on my homepage containing 2 pages (more if there are text pages etc). These posts will be available to Afficionado Tier or higher. Once a chapter is complete I will create a chapter post on the homepage and here in the patreon feed. These posts will be immediately accessible by all patrons. Once some time has passed (not sure yet, how much, I guess 2 months), I will start posting these main story chapters on my public sites though maybe at a slower pace.
