How this Patreon Campaign works (Patreon)

Welcome to my Patreon campaign, thank you for joining! This post is supposed to answer questions about my Patreon campaign and give you an overview of the content available with your membership.

Membership Benefits

I do provide the following content each month. According to your Tier you have access to some or all of these monthly benefits. (Higher Tiers have access to lower Tier content):

In addition your membership grants you the following continuous benefits:

• Access to previous main-stories and main story chapters: Office Party and The lost Temple.
• Access to some extra stuff I do in very irregularly: comics and other stuff.
• Access to the Archive (Unlocking month-wise on your life time support)
• Participating in Polls that may influence what I write ;)

Archive warning: 3D Comics get archived after about a month. You can always access the four most recent 3D Comics (with a Connoisseur Membership). Everything before that is part of the Archive that unlocks with live-time support. (See also 3D-Side-tory Archive below) (Alternative older comics can be bought in my Gumroad Shop.

Special Offer

Due to its long runtime and ongoing nature, the Window Wishing Series is currently available in full with a Time Travel Support Membership over the homepage so you can catch up with the complete story. Grade up to Time Travel Support then access the Window Wishing Chapters on the homepage, either by looking them up in the comic section or by using this link. Once you have downloaded all the chapters you can downgrade to a Tier of your choosing once again.

This offer will remain until Window Wishing has concluded. (Window Wishing will be 9 or 10 chapters long)

Accessing Content

Completed Main Story Chapters can be found here in the Patreon Feed by using the "Main Story"-Tag. (Or, alternatively the "Office-Party"-Tag or "The lost Temple"-Tag. Or in the main story section of the homepage: Office Party & The lost Temple

Daily main story posts can be found on the homepage in the daily section. (Once a main story chapter is completed it will be available as a completed chapter.

3D-Side-Story-Comics currently accessible with a running Connoisseur Membership can be found either here in the Patreon Feed by using the "Collection"-Tag, or on my homepage in the comic section. If you are an Enthusiast or Connoisseur Member you can also use the respected comic sub-folders on the homepage: Enthusiast Stories & Afficionado Stories.

Older 3D-Side-Story-Comics get archived after about a month and are only available in the Archive (see also below) or in my Gumroad Shop.

PAIs are only accessible in full on the homepage in the PAI Corner. Free PAIs are available for everyone. Member PAIs are only accessible with a PAI Support membership. Currently all PAIs ever created by me are available with a membership. They are not archived. And yes, this means you can join the PAI Tier and then downgrade again to join again once you think enough content has accumulated. (There will be 4 PAIs each month. Most of the time one of them will be freely available)

The 3D-Side-Story Archive is unlocked with your life-time support. Every month you follow me adds the monthly subscription fee to your life-time support. The Archive is locked month-wise - starting in September 2021. So, you will first unlock September 2021 then October 2021 and so on. The first four months are locked cheaper, after that each month is locked with an additional 12€.

• Nov 2021: 22€
• Dec 2021: 32€
• Jan 2022: 44€
• Feb 2022: 56€
• ...

Each month of the archive contains 4 3D-Side-Story Comics. A month unlocks in complete. So, if you unlock a month as an Enthusiast or Afficionado you will get access to stories that back in the day were for higher Tiers.

The archive is accessible only on my homepage in the Comic section. Please note that it unlocks in chronological order starting in September 2021. So, unless you already have unlocked the whole archive you should go to the last page of the comics and start from there.

Unlocking the Archive Faster:

• An Enthusiast Membership will take about 3 months to unlock a month of the archive.
• An Afficionado Membership will take about 2 months to unlock a month
• A Connoisseur Membership will unlock 1 month each month
• A PAI Support Membership will unlock 3 months for two months
• And a Time Travel Support Membership will unlock 2 months each month

If you want to unlock the archive faster or in one swoop there are options:

1.) There is the "Time Bundle - EVERYTHING"-Tier which will grant access to all posts on my homepage for the duration of this Membership. (This Tier's amount is also added to life-time support and therefore one month of this membership will unlock 12 months of the archive permanently). Please note that there is a special section for this Tier on the homepage to access the comics.

2.) You can overpay your membership by simply adding money when joining or upgrading your membership. (You will be charged this amount every month, so you need to manually downgrade that amount again once you are satisfied with the level of the archive you have reached)

3.) You can take a yearly membership of any of my Tiers. The yearly payment is instantly (well actually within 24 hours) added to your life-time support. Once Patreon has registered the payment you can access the archive accordingly.

• A yearly Enthusiast Membership will unlock at least 4 months.
• A yearly Afficionado Membership will unlock at least 7 months.
• A yearly Connoisseur Membership will unlock at least 12 months.
• A yearly PAI Support Membership will unlock at least 18 months.
• A yearly Time Travel Membership will unlock at least 24 months.

Taking a yearly membership is a great deal as you get the upcoming 12 months of my releases for their regular price, but instantly get access to a lot of comics of the past as well. (But the archive will not unlock further for the coming months, as you have unlocked already 12 months in advance)

Please note that if you use a yearly Membership to catch up with the current state of the archive, you will stay on a certain life-time support value for one year. Meaning the archive-access will not increase further for that time. So, while you will have access to the new comics (according to your Tier) as they come out, you should save them to your hard disc, because once they get archived you will lose access to those comics until your life-time support increases to catch up with the respective month.

Gumroad

I'm also selling my comics and PAIs on Gumroad. There you can buy my comics on a single-purchase basis or in the form of packages. If you are interested in most of my content, the Patreon is usually the better deal. But if you are only interested in certain topics (like mannequins for example) then you are probably better off just buying those comics that interest you.

Also, if you do not like 3D-Comics and only want the PAIs you are better off at Gumroad as well.

How do you unlock the Member Content on the homepage?

Use the "Connect with Patreon" Button on the Member's Page, then navigate to the content you want to access. (Note that there are "Unlock with Patreon" Buttons on the content pages as well, but those might not work for you if you downgraded or canceled your subscription.) If you need a more detailed description there is one here on my homepage.

I've just signed up or increased my support but can't access the expected archive posts?

Life-Time-Support takes time to settle with the Patreon App. Please try again in 24 hours. If the problem persists, write me a massage and I will look into it.

Can I somehow find out my life-time-support value?

Not really. I have asked Patreon support, there is currently no way for a Patron to find out that number for a Creator. But, you can go through the archive on my homepage from back to front, and the first comic post you find you can not access you are 0.01 to 12€ away from it.

If you do want to know your exact life-time-support value for some reason you can write me a message and I will tell you.

Why is my life-time-support value lower than expected?

Note that the amount you pay contains TAX (if applicable in your country). TAX does not add to life-time-support. Furthermore, if you are paying in a different Currency than €, Patreon subtracts a 2.5% exchange rate. Also, life-time-support for my campaign is given in €, so the Patreon currency exchange rates for that day apply. (Don't ask me how to find those rates, I do not know myself :C). If you still think something is wrong with your life-time-support value write me a message and I will take a look at your case.

Will I be able to access comics that came out during my subscription period once the current month is over?

Sadly the Patreon Plugin is lacking in this department and this is not possible. With your current membership you do have access to the latest (up to 4 comics for Connoisseur Tier). With every new comic that comes out, the oldest one is archived.

PS: Life-Time-Support Archive Access is not implicated by this problem. Months unlocked via life-time-support will stay unlocked for you.

When I try to access some comics I'm redirected to Custom Pledge Signup, even though I'm already a member.

If you downgraded or canceled your subscription and try to use an "Unlock with Patreon" button this might happen. Try using the "Connect with Patreon" Button on the Member's Page. If it still happens you might be trying to access an archived comic. Older comics are archived and can only be unlocked with life-time-support. The Patreon Plugin is redirecting you to the custom pledge form because it does not know what to do. (See also "How to access stories from BEFORE the current month?"). If you think that you should be able to view the comics according to the above rules, then please contact me and I'll try to analyze the problem at hand.

Why is there an archive? Why can't I just access everything with the membership?

Cause creating these comics is a lot of work and I'm at it for over 2 years now. Giving all that away for a one time ~13€ payment is a bit much to ask! Every month I create 60 pages of main story content + 4 Side Story Comics. That's not even 3€ per Comic. In addition (until you have caught up with the archive) you also unlock 4 additional stories in the archive. It is a good deal if you are interested in most of my content.
