This is a full colour version of a collage I made some time ago now. At the time I thought it looked good enough to show people and I couldn’t bring myself to put the effort into the room or the city scene so I left it as a collage, effectively unfinished. I came across it again recently and decided that it was worth going back to, and I wanted to put in some elements that might add a little to some kind of narrative. I added the window reflection to put the viewer as someone standing in a doorway to the room, maybe bringing their girlfriend a coffee in bed… Let me know what you think.

Morning Alarm

It was the sound that woke her. Or rather the sounds. And the rumbling. And maybe a little bit the rattling and shaking of the building and the large windows in front of her as the slurps and moans literally moved the building. Her eyes fluttered open to see curtains already open, but the city seemed to move. And then she realised they were bodies. Just two bodies.

“Morning Babe. I got you a coffee.”

I stood in the doorway and snapped a photo of the scene. It was strange, I was being excessively calm. They hadn’t been there when we went to bed last night but they were here now. In the early morning light these behemoths had been barely stirring. I had taken a moment to stare out of the window at them and then I had gone to make us a coffee. By the time I came back Connie had her boy’s dick up into a literal skyscraper and was sucking it like the first popsicle of summer.

“I didn’t want to wake you.”

“You didn’t want to wake me to tell me that your ex was a thousand feet tall and blowing some guy in the street?”

I smiled. “Seemed like something everyone would see eventually.”

I moved to the window. “Actually it’s all over the news.”

“No kidding.”

“No, I mean they aren’t the only ones. There have been giants appearing all over the country, all over the world maybe. We just happen to be unlucky enough that Connie is one of them.”
