The coastline fluttered south like a ribbon in the breeze. The blue of the ocean on one side of the beaches, cliffs, and breaking waves, and verdant green forests and hills on the other. Every so often an urban area sprung up from surrounding farmland. These small towns didn’t hold her attention and Krystal barely broke stride, downtowns vanishing under a single delicate foot as she sought more substantial fare.

For a few minutes she wandered, travelling miles with each step, inexorably moving towards the huge cities on the coast. She could barely see them, but a swarm of helicopters had started to gather around her legs, trying to keep up while avoiding her legs as they swung past, being blown into oblivion if they strayed too close.

At one point she passed a mighty river at it’s mouth to the sea, which must have been hundreds of meters wide. A suspension bridge spanned the water, surely a marvel of engineering, the mighty towers barely reaching her ankles in height. She took a single step and crossed over the river estuary. Pausing, she stood astride the river, her legs like the Colossus of Rhodes on a gargantuan scale. Upriver battleships were massing, attempting to manoeuvre their broadside batteries to her. They were no larger than a lipstick. Smirking, she looked down on the scene.

“I do so like your pretty country. You have so many trinkets.”

She was about to continue on her way but a mischievous thought crossed her mind, and with a giggle Krystal kicked at the shallow river, sending a splash of water over the bridge and the fleet of ships. The tsunami was devastating, as billions of gallons on water sunk several battleships and washed hundreds of cars from the bridge. The peels of her laughter floated on the wind across the countryside, and down the coast to the next city in path.
