When I finish a chapter I try to leave readers with a bit of a punch. The last reaction I want is a "what the hell is going on here," and I realize that was a very real danger on this one.

Basically I hope for readers to take away at least one of two things from this page: One is that Switch has a new power since the events of the visual novel. If she had the ability to detect other Crawlers back then, there wouldn't have been much of a story. So this is new.

The second thing I hope is clear is that Halver's plan to earn her favor, at least as of now, isn't working. She is not picking up what he's putting down here.

In any case, whether I left you with a "huh?" or not here I hope you enjoyed the scene and this chapter. I personally had fun diving into the relationships that needed some attention and I'm looking forward to checking in on some other characters next!

Switch prolly just thinks Halver looks silly in that butler getup.

Love the glowing effect around her eyes. I am also intrigued to see what happens next! I do hope that we get at least a moment of Switch with Isaac, thinking about him or even just acknowledging him. I'd like to think that Isaac made as much of an impression as Casey did, in his own way.

I was wondering if switch needed her host to bang Lydia to see any crawlers attached. But I guess she doesn't need him to anymore. Or can she only see him like that because they banged?

Dorian Alton

It makes sense for this to be new. Switch is the best at adapting and overccoming after all.

Makes sense she can sense others now due to the visual novel. Love how this is developing!

Thanks! (I see now..)

I get sensing he’s connected to someone present, I don’t get her knowing what he’s up to without connecting with his mind.

I just figured he's a lot easier for her to see becuase he's being very surface level. In the game, the host didn't even know they were a host.

Lord Washington

I noticed i kinda look like Casey's dad. But also like Switch's new "client." Plus he has almost the same hair as me.

I confess none of that is clear here. It might help is Switch and Halver were even in the same panel, so I can tell who's looking at what

Like I said I hate to leave off on such ambiguous note but I can say for sure that all this will be addressed in the future.

That's on me, I couldn't resist the close up cleavage angle of Switch's body in that big middle panel. A smarter use of the space would have been a long-distance establishing shot for clarity's sake, but because of what kind of comic this is I didn't feel like I could go a page without a solid body shot.
