Looking Ahead in 2023 (Patreon)

Is the end of January a bit late to do one of these yearly projection bits? Maybe, but I made it in before February, at least!
So obviously the big thing is that, thanks to your support, the visual novel we've been working on for years is now in its final stages. All that's left to do is dive into the code and polish, polish, polish. But since I couldn't code my way out of a wet paper bag, that task falls to Kaldonis. As for me, I've been working on assets and artwork to get a head start on the next project from Switchverse Games!
I don't want to go all in on the specifics just yet, feels a bit early to formally announce the new game when the previous one is still in beta, but I frankly couldn't wait any longer to share some of what I've been putting in so much overtime to make lately.
So, what are we looking at? I've long maintained I don't have the patience to make character line ups for the sake of them. And I still don't. Which is why what you're looking at here are the in-game models that will be walking around in the game's environment. Our next project will be a full point-and-click adventure game, built in Unity. It's an ambitious goal. For us, anyway. Kaldonis has to learn a whole new engine and I have to learn a LOT about animation. But I've been hitting the Youtube tutorials hard, and Kal has been quick to pick up the new coding language so far.
As I said, I don't want to go into any story specifics for now, but I can say that this new game is intended to take place in the TRW universe, though it's a bit more of a spin off than a sequel to the visual novel, as this will have more of a focus on the sci-fi end of the lore. I hope to have piqued your interest here, and I'll have a proper reveal ready when the visual novel is completely finished!
