So this is Chiho from an anime called "The Devil is a Part-Timer." (And if you're familiar with the show, let's just say this one takes place before she meets our hero.) XD

The premise of the show is basically "what if a demon lord from a fantasy world became stranded on Earth, stripped of his magic and status, and now has a life that revolves around bills, roommates, and minimum wage?" They call him "Satan" in the show but he conceptually has a lot more in common with Dracula from Castlevania than the Christian devil. 

So the devil becomes the greatest fast food worker ever. Not just that, he inexplicably becomes the nicest guy ever on Earth as well. Just an exemplary citizen in every possible way. The "perfect male" trope is a tiring one for me in anime, but it's tolerable here because A: out of all the girls in the show, only one actually falls for him as far as I've seen, (the rest are mostly heroes that hate his guts) and B: he's just so...fussy. He's fussy and neurotic and paranoid about regular stuff like rent, food, and his hours being cut. Watching the perfect anime boi routinely lose his mind about mundane shit has high entertainment value to me. The show is basically a stealth satire on working life in Japan.

I liked this show when it released back in 2013. Sure, it had what's known as the "we're out of money, read the manga" sort of unsatisfying finale that's obnoxiously common in short anime series, but I didn't hold it against the show at the time.  But then, the unthinkable happened: we got a second season...in 2022!?

Even more insane: they got the entire English cast back for the dub. I already thought the cast was awesome in the first season, but the second one is on a whole other level. The line delivery feels so organic that if I didn't know better I'd swear the cast was sitting together and improvising while they recorded their lines. I watch dubs almost exclusively, and this second season is one of my all time favorites already. 

Anyway! That's my take on the series as of being most of the way through the second season. Have you seen it? What did you think? What's the best lewd scenario and why is it women trying to perform a separate task while getting totally plowed? As always, I'd love to hear what you think.
