Hey everyone, just an update to my goings on here for anyone who's interested. But if you're not up for reading several paragraphs, here's the headline: I'm taking two weeks off at the end of the year instead of the usual one. The Monday Patreon rewards will still be present, (even on vacation I need something to do.) But the girls of the TRW comic will be on break for the last week of December and the first week of January.

This isn't a decision I came to lightly, as I worry about keeping reader retention during such a long break. In the six years since I started doing this full time, I've never once taken two weeks off in a row. But without regaling you with the details of my personal life, I can tell you that I have a lot going on this year, and two full weeks of less pressing deadlines will do me a world of good mentally.

Here's where I'm at on other various topics!

The visual novel: The goal is to finish the visual novel in 2022. Should be doable. Bria, the final main story character, should be ready to post in mid to late January. After that, the ending is all that's left. Though the ending will require so many art assets that I may release it in phases with sketches and placeholder artwork just to keep the updates timely. From there, we'll just need to polish it up and get it ready for the storefronts. Kal and I both would like to thank you all for your feedback on the game. Without you, we'd have never come so far on such a huge project.

Commissions: Earlier this year, I reopened my commissions with higher prices to Discord members only in an attempt to keep my waiting list from getting too large for me to handle. After about three months, it got too large to handle anyway. So for now the list is closed while I work down the names already on there. I'll rethink how to approach commissions again once I get near the bottom of the list, and I'll keep you posted.

The Website and Store: Thanks to all of you, the comic website and merch store has been a big success! Your input has been extremely helpful, and expect a new sticker announcement soon!

The Comic: I feel good about the comic. TRW is still what I think about whenever I'm idle, and the current scene seems to be going over well. I just wish I could update more often to keep the story moving faster. As always I'll do my best to keep your interest with the characters in 2022.

And that's all for now! Hope you guys have a good weekend, and let me know if you have any questions!

You practically work nonstop, I think a vacation for xmas and new years is completely ok. Rest up and we'll see you in 2022!

Thx for the transparency! Get some rest, I wish you all the best.

Take off all the time you need, then come back rested and with horny intent ;)

You've earned the time off, you work your butt off. Enjoy your down time and Happy Holidays!

I honestly think you should be taking at the very least like 28 days off per year (not counting sick leave) to maintain your health and sanity. The US standard of around 10 paid days per year is absolutely ludicrous, way too little.

Understandable, it's holiday season, after all! The VN ending sounds great, here's hoping for a bit more Raina :)

Duuuude stop justifying your fkn days off 🤣 just rest and do your things

What Adam said! Take more time when needed, or just when you want to! For those that read what you write, it's obvious how much time you spend working, and I think if their clever smut arrives a few days late every so often, nobody will bat an eyelash.

I follow 2 webcomic creators who update only when they feel like it. If I can put up with that, I can certainly put up with you taking 2 freakin' weeks off.

Reinbach

Oh it is, totally. But my job is fun for me, and I'm very thankful to be able to do it. If I took more than two weeks off I might get antsy. XD

ScuzzBucket

Yeah just gonna agree with the others and say you deserve plenty of days off, and your update schedule is fine missing a week or two here and there. I mean, most webcomic artists I know either go on FREQUENT hiatuses, or update "whenever", and 90% of porn webcomic artists either put their shit on hold for YEARS at a time or are noticeably getting bored with their projects. So you missing 2 weeks is perfectly fine... especially in a year you gave me a Morgan story, a Miss Holt story, AND a Millie story!

Reinbach

Sorry, missed this at the time. Thank you! And you're more patient than me lol. I recently pruned someone off my support list because they hadn't updated in a month without explanation. XD
