I mostly try to lean on it for when the characters are drawn small, if I can help it. (Or when i just think it would look cute, such as Bria in the last panel.) I find it helps keep expressions more legible when reading on smaller devices like phones.

Dude. THIS IS A FANTASY TOWN; it’s not the Matrix, where the human brain won’t accept it unless there’s conflict & drama. Fantasy Town means exploring fantasy without any real world consequences.
