Patreon Pin Up 3/29/21 (Patreon)

By now you might be going, "More Avatar characters? Is Reinbach obsessed as well as handsome?" It's true that I did just do a picture of adult Katara a few months ago, and I generally try not to overuse characters from a single IP too close together if I can help it. Chalk this one up to being a coincidence. I saw this pose in my reference folder and wanted to come up with a character known for flexibility to fill it. The acrobatic Ty Lee was the first one that came to mind, so I paired her up with Zuko here. I think this makes five or six Avatar pics I've done if I count the Korra ones. Quite a few for me, but Persona still wins as the most revisited series in my art. 

Anyhow since I've done so many, I really don't have any new insights about the series to share that I haven't brought up already in previous posts or in the Discord server. As for Ty Lee specifically though, who doesn't love this character? Despite being forced to assist in a dangerous manhunt for her government's military, she still managed to be the peppiest and most upbeat member of the cast. It's the sign of a good side character if you think they didn't get enough screen time, and I certainly felt that way in this case.
