That's why she really likes that Pinkie is the best friend of Twilight since she always saw that Twilight was very closed off as opposed to having fun when she was younger (Due to her obsession with studying and reading books) that now with Pinkie she feels that she will be able to see the world with more joy and fun. 

Yes, in  his life she is not related by blood to the current moon, Latika (since she was born in India). That does not mean that they no longer have a connection, since in Equestria they were more than just sisters of the same mother. since they represent the sun and the moon (day and night). 

Here they are also spiritually connected, so what one lived in her day, the other dreams in the night (to understand, if one had a special moment in the day, the other although this one on the other side of the world will live the same but in her dreams which means that each one knows what the other has experienced). actualmente convive con zecora quien hace las partes de maestra y consejera para celeste
su cabello original es de color rosa pero cuando zecora le dio su corona junto al cuerno del alicornio su cabello obtuvo la tonalidad parecida al de su versión de princesa.
su personalidad difiere mucho de  su vida pasada siendo ahora alguien muy animada;  a la edad de twilight ella se parecía mucho a pinkie en su personalidad (no tan exagerada claro XD). por eso le agrada mucho que pinkie sea la mejor amiga de twilight ya que siempre vio que twilight era muy cerrada y contraria a divertirse cuando era mas pequeña (por su obsesión a estudiar y leer libros)  que ahora con pinkie siente que podrá ver el mundo con mas alegría y diversión.

si, en esta vida no tiene parentesco sanguíneo con la actual luna, latika (ya que ella nació en india) eso no significa que ya no posean una conexión. ya que en equestria eran mas que simples hermanas de una misma madre. ya que representan al sol y la luna (el día y la noche).
aquí tambien están conectados espiritualmente por eso lo que una vivió en su día la otra lo sueña en la noche (para entenderlo si una en el día tuvo un momento especial, la otra aunque este al otro lado del mundo vivirá lo mismo pero en sus sueños lo que significa que cada una sabe lo que la otra a vivido).
esto hace que celeste sienta mucha compasión por luna ya que sabe lo que ella a vivido en su vida principalmente cuando era una niña. eh incluso aveces siente cierta culpa.

detesta que le digan celestia ya que a pesar que tenga su alma no posee aun el nivel de dicha alicornio. aun así igualmente posee un alto nivel de magia solo que debe tener cuidado en usarla.
