I don't own a VR headset myself, can't really help you but they play fine on my desktop. Could just be a codec issue but I really don't know.

have either of you tried using GoPro VR Player? it's how i watch vr videos on pc!

I can confirm that this works on Gear VR (using US Samsung S8). Keep up the good work!
