So this is something I've been putting off for a long time. Thanks to a great friend, I am now in the process of learning to use a new engine for my animations, namely Blender.

Why?

To put it simply, Blender is better engine. The only thing SFM has going for it is a huge asset list thanks to it's great community and fast render times. That's about it. With Blender, the potential is relatively huge as long as I'm patient enough to learn things. Also, the fact that the Source engine hasn't been updated in years and have no signs of doing so doesn't help with SFM's case.

What to expect / No more SFM videos?

I'll still be making SFM animations for the foreseeable future just expect some downtime from me every now and then as I take some time to learn to learn this new software. I'm still in the learning phase so it'll be awhile before Blender completely replaces my animations.

The image above is my very first render. A quick comparison of that compared to my recently released Juri animations should show you the significant difference between the two engines. I'm hoping to be adept enough to have this kind of quality in my animations soon enough.

Besides that, thank you all again for the support. I hope this doesn't dishearten any of you for whatever reason as I feel this is the better step for me to making better stuff for you guys. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Wow, that looks amazing! Can’t wait to see how the first few Blender animations turn out. You’ll have to keep us up to date on how learning the new system is going.

Looks nice. Just keep in mind that i've seen blender users before whose animations weren't nearly as good as your previous work. So keep your good hand behind the engine! YOU will make it great!

Much appreciated. I'm hoping what i know in SFM will transfer well to Blender.

I'll be posting the occasional poster and such. Wouldn't wanna bore you guys with the technical stuff.

I've been hoping you'd make the Blender plunge sometime, you're a very talented artist so it's nice to see you learning a program that has more potential. I look forward to seeing if you can get lipstick marks working in it someday!

To me, blender often times ends up looking oversaturated and plasticky. Everyone has their own tastes I suppose.

redmoa

Interesting take. So what do you prefer? Do you prefer how SFM looks over Blender? I do understand the plasticky comment but I think it's still an improvement over SFM. Do you disagree?

Yogensha

Hmm... depends on the animator I suppose. I really like your SFM look though. Your SFMs never looked badly lit unlike others. Although I can understand you wanting to improve quality in some way.

In a perfect world, each model would look like the game it came from, but thats not always achievable^^

I see. This is honestly surprising to me for someone to think this. In my head, Blender is basically just plain puts out higher fidelity content compared to what SFM can do so I must be doing something REALLY right for you to think this haha. I appreciate it lots and I'm sorry if you're disappointed that I'm switching. Hopefully, I can still retain the quality that you liked with my stuff.

I just enjoy your work man whatever works for you works for me. I 1st seen your work when I was browsing P**nHub, was looking up hentai which graduated to Femdom hentai, then MMD(think it's what it's called) then I seen a video titled "Femdom Sfm" And I loved it your work are in alot of the "compilations" I'm a fan of Femdom, some sph, cuckold n what not. Anyways don't mind a pervert like me lmao. I just wanted to let you know your an awesome man of culture!
