It´s not only Bruce Willis at the end that showed that this movie is related to Unbrakable, it´s the score, which began 1-1,5 minutes before Willis show up. I wish G&S would pay attention to movie scores; there are great ones in the last 30+ yrs alone: from The Thin Red Line, The Game, The Last Samurai, Copycat, The Hours, Braveheart, LOTR trilogy and The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable obviously etc.

For me the movie is just meh, good enough, I do have my reasoning. But glad you enjoyed it and keep this trilogy going, it is still good within Shyamalan's work. I actually love how the metahumans appearing in a "real" world is used as satisfying payoff. Can't go with the inaccurate handling of ID and trauma makes you chosen message (it's the villains, but wow it's not good).

Anya Taylor Joy somehow manages to both equally look like a goddess, and an alien at the same time. Her eyes are gorgeous but they're spaced so far apart. Personally I think her acting is pretty overrated and one dimensional. Loved this movie though.

I think that they made The Beast fantastical, helps with the fact that it's not an accurate depiction of DID. It wasn't suppose to be. The fact that they literally casted Dr. Xavier from X-men helps with that lol

I still think McAvoy should've won an Oscar for this. Not just been nominated, won. He's amazing.
