The last weekly polls winner The Other Guys, which will be available this Saturday. Until then here are SOME of the films recommended by you guys. Remember, you can vote for multiple films!
Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

MotoDork

It would be great if we could add Heavy Metal to this poll.

Quigonjim25

'The Lego Movie' is S tier. Completely blew my expectations out of the water when I first seen it.

Ral Zarek

Your Name is my fav movie of all time and such a beautiful watch! Hopefully they get to watch it at some point❤️

Jessi

No hate whatsoever to any other movie on this poll, but Your Name is a work of art and I'll never not vote for it! 😉

Jeff I.

Since we're coming up on the Christmas holidays, I'd like to suggest the animated movie Klaus for the future. It's really good!

Nikodem

Lego or Cloudy!!! Either way, you can't go wrong with Lord & Miller ;)

Anonymous

More Breaking Bad instead?

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

As someone who works in a Lego store for a living I’d feel like I’ll get hunted down for recommending any other film than The Lego Movie lol. Still an excellent film regardless

Bonny T

Your Name 🎇

Bonny T

Your Name 🎇

Foodassassin4life

Please watch The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), Sooper Troopers, Fresh (1994), Bad Times at the El Royale, From Dusk till Dawn, Get the Gringo

Joshua Couch

The Lego Movie is advertising for a toy done right

RandomNevermind

I am so excited. Thank you for the poll. Hope Brave will be the second (Lego will be the first for sure) And have you ever watched Up!? If not - that's a thing. Also The Garden of Words is super beautiful if you guys are into Makoto Shinkai

Foodassassin4life

Also Please watch Home Alone 2 and Die Hard 2 this December if you guys can fit it in the schedule

Ryan Raventhal

Everything will be awesome if you choose "The Lego Movie". Trust me. 😜🤘

Kangdarius

I’d pay for them to skip die hard 2 and go straight to vengeance lol

Sam

Your Name is an incredible movie. It's a shame it doesn't really have a good chance of winning.

Anonymous

Recommendation for Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011). Modern rom-com with Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling bringing the scales down on the comedy side of the genre.

Kangdarius

None of these float my boat tbh. Imma have to bow out of this one.

Anonymous

Your Name is such a fun movie and beautiful. I hope we get so see you watch it for the first time.

Martin

While we’re on the subject of animated, after Breaking Bad/Ted Lasso, you should check out the Netflix series, Blue Eye Samurai. It’s incredible.

Aussiefeld

I am very surprised Inside Out isn't trending higher, it is far and away iconic it needs to be seen by everyone!

Anonymous

Any chance of watching the live “One Piece” Netflix series ?

Jeff K

Knew this one was over before I even voted.

Jeff I.

In general, most people don't like reactions with two people where one of them has already seen it. Those movies have never done very well in polls IIRC.

James Lawson

I’d love to see Brave too but lego movie would be awesome! Brave just feels underrated and it’s one of my favourites 😄

jmundt33a

Yikes. Other than Your Name (which I don’t know) the best choices are new to George only. Oh well. Next time.

Logan Nelson

Thought we might see some adult batman animated movies this time... Here's to hoping for the next one...

Martin Roca

Your name is a must!!! If someday you do this movie, just be careful because anime is super complex on youtube, you can get an strike for nothing, not sure how much you know about anime but it's kinda weird.

Anonymous

You should check out Atlantis the Lost Empire.

jmundt33a

Brave always infuriates me. Such great animation. Such fantastic casting! Beautiful soundtrack! That’s awesome! What about the story? The what??? Oh. Whoops. Well we do have these three screenplay fragments. Smush them together. No one will notice. Even if they do, why would anyone care?? 😤

Duron Ball

Well you're gonna have to watch ALL of these... Because they are all Awesome 😊😊

GnolRevilo

As someone mentioned earlier, the animated film Klaus (2019) would be a great watch for the Christmas season soon upon us.

Anonymous

Wooo Lego Movie!!!! This movie is so much fun! My husband and I have watched it several times. AND I sing the one song all the time!

RandomNevermind

Yeah. I should agree with jmundt33a that screenplay seems a little bit clumsy. But on the other hand Brave is also very much underrated. And it is not everyday that you can see a movie about importance of listening each other and ways to look for decisions that are leading to everybody's happiness, not just yours. About balance between duty and your own freedom. Brave has it's flaws but damn there are not many movies that daring to work with those topics nowadays.

Aussiefeld

I missed it was only new to George when I commented but everyone still needs to see it, I can see how it could hurt it in the poll

GnolRevilo

Hope 𝘙𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘰 gets a watch some day!

Neumann

Dude cloudy with a chance of meatballs is so underappreciated

Logan Kerlee

Being honest, I'm not a fan of ANY of these movies.

Martin Nicholls

At first I was.. they're all kinda bad for adults. But actually the Lego movie was pretty good with an annoyingly catchy song (I literally didn't see it in the list) - I have recollections of the sequel being awful but.. If you want a recommendation of an actually good animated movie, Up (2009) is the one, dunno if you've seen it.

ra ra rasputin

riiiight i forgot, this channel exists solely for you and you alone. who cares other people might want something.

Logan Kerlee

That would make me so happy! I doubt that either of them have watched it and I know that a ton of folks would enjoy watching a reaction to that.

Anonymous

Klaus has been my favourite Christmas movie since it came out in 2019. I'll watch it multiple times every Christmas season and cry every time. It's a beautiful movie, both the story and the animation. 💕

Logan Kerlee

Being honest, it super bums me out that they're a pair that does reactions on YouTube. I'm over here wishing that they did reactions for us on Patreon. That would make me incredibly happy!

ra ra rasputin

i mean isnt YT how any of us found S&G? its their store front since patreon doesnt promote or have discover page. asking them to only do stuff for people on here is both shutting the door behind us after getting in.

Anne Hummel

I join the chorus for Klaus for the holidays :) And Cloudy with a chance of meatballs is a hidden gem. Including the sequel! :)

Anonymous

Inside Out and Cloudy With Meatballs were real big surprises when first seeing them and are personally the strongest choices on the list. Was not a big fan of Lego movie but it sure seems super popular here.

Anonymous

NIMONA is the animated movie I am most anticipating from Cinebinge.

HeyHeyJK

I'm really surprised "Your Name" isn't doing better. Highest-grossing anime film of all time in Japan, I think, at least at one point, beating out all of Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's work. So, I'll vote for that one and also "The Lego Movie" which was a total surprise and so much fun. CWACOM is also great.

Patrick

This poll is going to be a landslide lol

Anonymous

Recommending Super Troopers again. Would love to see it on an upcoming poll!

Jordan Kenyon

Great choices here…..but Your Name should still be reacted at some point VERY soon! You there as one of my favorite movies (live action or animated!), along with A Silent Voice! You two would LOVE both of those!

Huckleberry lobo

You've seen Antonio Banderas & Salma Hayek collab in Puss in Boots now( Last Wish was awesome btw, I hadn't watched it till you guys did) how about watch where it all started in, Desperado.

Martin Roca

But i think even if the video is unlisted you can get strikes, they do exclusives like Breaking Bad and it's on youtube. You need to find another service with less restrictions and bla bla

dudewheresmycar

Lego Movie is gonna surprise the heck out of you. The director/writers are the same creative team behind the Spider-Verse movies.

Jeff K

Looking at the results so far, I'm reminded of Rocky IV: "Throw the damn towel!"

sarCC

Yes! YOUR NAME is soooo incredible, I'm so exited for you two to watch it. And....while YOURE NAME is definitely one of those movies I'm jealous of anyone getting to watch it for the first time, a movie that always feels new, exciting, and mind-blowing every time I rewatch it is RRR! I really, really recommend you two watch RRR; there is absolutely no way this movie can be overhyped. It's outrageously amazing. OPPENHEIMER felt like an eight-hour movie to me, but RRR feels like half-an-hour long. It's so briskly-paced and tightly scripted. It's just a pure joy to watch, eveRRRy time!

Opti_Frog

Your Name has to be watched even if it won't win this poll. Not only is it the best movie on this particular list, by far, it's one of the best films ever made. If you're reading this comment and haven't seen Your Name, do yourself a favour and watch it asap.

MasterElodin

Inside out alone deals with very adult issues and is more of an adult or at least adolescent movie than a childrens movie. Like a good 50% of that movie will go over a childs head.

Brendan Rafferty

I’m voting for Deep Impact I know it’s not on this list, but c’mon already guys. 😟

Opti_Frog

The Lego Movie is fine, but it's not special the way Your Name is.

Quigonjim25

Why bother? Its part of the original trilogy (its not as bad as "everyone" says), and compared to 5 its a masterpiece. May as well watch it.

Jesse Coombs

Only because it's my favorite animated movie, I'm recommending "The Secret of Nimh". It's a wonderful 80's adventure that's kind of dark with a cool aesthetic.

Jon

amazing film indeed ! a really nice animation, and a fantastic story

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Wreck it Ralph is my fav on the list but I prefer when neither has seen a movie so I went w the masses on this one ..I enjoy all the Lego Movies and it will be a fun reaction

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

To pump up something not so mainstream in this category that also happens to be a great film..I'd like to request Persepolis

JarHead0351

Rise of the Guardians is another good one

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Some small films that I'd like to request that are excellent and very deserving of a reaction - Landscape with Invisible Hands - Aftersun - Theater Camp

tundra

"it's one of the best films ever made." LMAO! Come on man.

Chase Lonnergan

As soon as I saw The Lego Movie, that song got stuck in my head...

John

I think there would be a great reaction to the Dark Knight Returns voiced by Peter Wellers. It a definitive batman story

Travis H

Wow this may be the most one sided poll I have ever seen here…granted I don’t have a great memory, but still! As for animation recs, I am assuming you both have seen the Toy Story series ….right???? Others recs are: Turning Red Fantastic Mr. Fox Space Jam (may not hold up, but will probably get views) (But I would like an answer about Toy Story so I know if I need to judge you two 😉)

Andrew Hussey

It's a shame because your name isn't quite the powerhouse financially that Lego movie and such is but damn guys, you seriously need to check it out, easily among the most moving, emotional film experiences I've ever had, weathering with you and Suzume are damn fine follow-ups too, if not right now, please, check out your name, you will love it

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Yes, more Robert Rodriguez!! Although they already watched my personal favorite film of his, Sin City, I’d love to see them get to some of his other movies: From Dusk till Dawn, The Mexican Trilogy, Planet Terror.

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

They’ve done Turning Red, but I’m in complete agreement on Fantastic Mr. Fox (and more Wes Anderson in general) as well as other stop motion animations: Coraline, Kubo and the Two Strings and Wallace and Gromit.

Travis H

Oh crap you’re right, to make me feel even dumber that was also the first video of theirs I watched! 🤦‍♂️

REDR58

Lego movie by a mile for me no matter what, but in general I really prefer it when a movie is new to the both of you. I’m more likely to vote for a movie like that than one where it is new to only one of you.

Andrew Hussey

For a second I thought you were going to say Paprika lol, I was like "oh my God, yes, yes please!", Satoshi kon was gone far too early

Andrew Hussey

It wasn't until years later I saw a knudsen video on YouTube about the mouse utopia experielments at the National Institute for Mental Health and it puts that movie in a whole other vibe for me lol

Gary Trousdale

I know a lot of the Disney ones are problematic because of the music (yet I see Disney titles with music in this list) but ones like Lilo and Stitch and Atlantis the Lost Empire are non musical (except for the score). And ffs, *NO* Studio Ghibli/ Hayao Miyazaki films?? Totoro, Mononoke, Spirited Away, Laputa, Nausica, Kiki, Ponyo…soooo many great choices there.

Anonymous

With Inside Out and Brave in the poll LEGO is winning??? You gotta be kidding me.....

Opti_Frog

tundra, are you disqualifying animated films in general, or this one in particular? Your Name currently holds the #83 spot on IMDb's Top 250 movies list (Btw, Inside Out is #166 - the rest are absent). Film lovers consider it to be in the top 100 best movies of all time. What is your argument? And apparently i enjoy the word "particular".

Jeb Manning

I'd love to see you guys react to The SpongeBob SquarePants movie. I don't know if George is familiar with SpongeBob but the movie is goofy, insane and hilarious.

Jeb Manning

I'd also love to see you guys react to The Simpsons Movie if you want to do another animated movie. I know George loves the Simpsons and I think it would be great to Simone's reaction to it.

Anonymous

I remember one of your vids you guys saying you hadn't seen Monsters Inc. (I think anyway). So how about some of the older Pixar classics, which I think are better than anything in the poll (in all fairness I haven't seen "Your Name" though). I'm not sure which of the following you have seen already, but... -wall-e -monsters inc -up -finding nemo All really great movies...

Foodassassin4life

I'm asking them to watch it during December because highly contested as it is I believe it's also a Christmas movie like the first one

tundra

'it's one of the best films ever made." Sorry, but this kind of exaggeration just makes me laugh.

Anonymous

Love your reactions and look forward to seeing many more like these on my wish list... 1. Braveheart 2. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) 3. Secondhand Lions 4. The Game 5. Event Horizon

Skyruff

I voted but I didn't see "Heavy Metal" my true vote.

Jacob King

Some pretentious arthouse suggestions: A Scanner Darkly (2006) Son of The White Mare (1981) Fantastic Planet (1973) Paprika (2006) Lego Movie is great and deserves to win.

Readster

I think you guys would really love Your Name, though I doubt it'll ever win in a poll so consider picking it for yourselves sometime

Hussain Rumaih

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a true classic i reaally do hope you guys get to do it! loving more animation movies anyhow tho!!

Opti_Frog

That's a non-answer to both my questions. How can it be an exaggeration when it's on IMDb's Top 250 movies list? Is it an exaggeration to say that 2001: A Space Odyssey or Citizen Kane are among the best films ever made?

Ryan Raventhal

I recommend watching 'Grumpy Old Men' (1993) and it's sequel 'Grumpier Old Men' (1995). Two of the funniest comedies ever made starring the late, great Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau and of course Burgess Meredith (Micky from Rocky). Saw them in the theatre as a teenager in the 90s and I still watch them on DVD every year. Still hilarious 🤣. I'm sure you ou guys will love them both. 😉🤘📺📼

REDR58

If you have not somehow read the book, do so immediately. I like the movie mostly due to its visuals and cast, but the book has a much more interesting story that doesn’t involve a bit of magic and I think that works better for the story. There was talk of a remake for NIMH and I hope they do that and are more faithful to the book with more of its subplots and the better ending. It could be an excellent new animated movie.

Noe Ramirez

I really want to see y'all react to Your Name! It's so fucking good, and makes me cry every time I watched it. But honestly a lot of these would be great! Never seen Brave and I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't care for Wreck it Ralph, but the rest of these are so good! I would love a sing-a-long to Frozen personally. Lol

tundra

omg. lighten up francis. if you can't handle a little criticism then the interweb is probably not the place for you.

sarCC

Many people don't like Wreck-It Ralph, me amongst them. It never really delivered on its advertised premise(wild that it's more about candy than videogames).

Rob Church

I heard Ghibli reactions are a nightmare to keep up on youtube. They almost always get blocked and claimed.

Anonymous

Christmas/Holiday Poll Suggestion The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) The Santa Clause (1994) Grumpy Old Men (1993) Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) Jingle All the Way (1996)

Anonymous

"When the Wind Blows" is also highly recommended, for both its theme as well as the way it was made. And of course all of the Wallace & Gromit movies.

Gary Trousdale

Ohhhhh, I didn’t know that. But that explains why you never see them. Well…Lilo and Stitch and Atlantis tLE then.

Gary Trousdale

Wreck it Ralph was one of the new crop of Disney movies I had little interest in checking out. I’m in the industry and get tired of animation sometimes. My son was in college at the time, called and told me to check it out. He and his friends (all gamers) had seen it twice. For broke college students to pay for a movie *twice*, I figured I had to see it. I was not disappointed. Clever, fun, engaging, and Sarah Silverman was awesome as Vanellope. And John C. Reilly! Holy cow!

Anonymous

I forgot about Cloudy! Such a great one :)

Alex Ch

Hey just thought of a couple really good reaction movies where the main characters are smart about the work they’re doing - Crimson Tide (conflict on a sub) and Enemy of the State. Both smart movie-star thrillers that are a lot of fun and good reactions.

Anonymous

I highly recommend these movies: Super Troopers (2001) Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) Dead Presidents (1995)

Nat B

The Lego Movie!!!

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Actually for Animation...surprised we have never gotten Sausage Party on a poll...

steve

You should add Bowfinger to a poll.

RandomNevermind

I am curious why "Up!" is not here? S&G watched it already?

Anonymous

Nimona needs to be watched at some point. It's very good. Not as good as Your Name, but it's up there.

Opti_Frog

I have calmly and reasonably given evidence to why your "criticism" made no sense, and you have been completely unable to defend your opinion by answering my questions or even explain what you mean. Who is it that can't handle criticism again?

Anonymous

hell yeah The Lego Movie, made by the same guys that did Spiderman Into The Spiderverse

Martin

This has to be some kind of record, yeah?

Martin

Second for Crimson Tide. So good, and so intense.

Moni Castaneda

I thought so too! But I did a quick search of recent polls and The Bourne Identity and The Prestige have more votes than The Lego Movie...

Moni Castaneda

Come on Frozen!!! you can do it! Still 16 hours left to vote!

FranciscoGios

Wreck it Ralph is so good. Wow this the first time to see 1,000+ votes on an animated movie; Simone & George strap on your seats this is going to be a great show. I’m Batman!!

Rachel W

Frozen is so overrated. Besides THE song, the rest of the songs are subpar, the story and dialogue mediocre.

simon brouillard

Disappointed not to see my favorite animated movie There will be blood 😏

Sheriff Uchiha

If you do react to Your Name at some point, please watch it with subtitles. I'm not a dub hater, but a critical scene requires subtitles that the dub didn't translate. So, for this particular anime, I always recommend Japanese Audio.

HeyHeyJK

I've suggested it before but I'm sure it falls into the abyss of suggestions they get. Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin were perfection in that film.

Odd Thomas

The Lego Movie?! Wreck it Ralph is the correct answer

djKENTO

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm… the best Theatrical Batman movie. Get it on the list homies.

Anonymous

Have both of you seen Golden Girls??? One of the best comedy tv shows of all time.

Anonymous

I watched what I'd estimate to about 200 animated films whilst trying to watch all animated films and the top 3 best ones I watched for me were 1: The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, 2: Wolfwalkers, and 3: My Life as a Zucchini. Edit: Actually 657 animated films. I was way off!

Anonymous

It doesn’t look like you’ve done many Clint Eastwood films. Can recommend: Million Dollar Baby Mystic River Unforgiven Gran Torino

Matthew Blackwood

My Life As A Zucchini/Courgette is soooooo good! The director’s live action movies are magical as well.

Anonymous

I'll check them out maybe. The only other thing I've seen by him is The Genie in a Tin of Ravioli Tin because it was on the DVD I got for Christmas.

Rachel W

Tangled should have been on this list. It's so underrated. It's hilarious and the soundtrack, overall is much better than Frozen. Brave is really good, too.

Chase Schleich

Oh they'd FUCKING LOVE Million Dollar Baby. Getting them to watch that is my new mission on this channel lol

Brandon Meng

Can we get a romcom poll please? Love Actually (for Christmas!) Forgetting Sarah Marshall About Time Midnight in Paris Stranger than Fiction 500 Days of Summer Punch Drunk Love Silver Linings Playbook

Jeff I.

No one ever mentions it, but High Fidelity with John Cusack (and featuring Jack Black!) is such an underrated romantic comedy. It's arguably way better written than 90% of romcom movies.
