Starman Deluxe

I'm sure somebody else has already commented but if not, the bodies in the pool were real bodies and no one told the actress.

You guys should totally do The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Directed by the same dude and is a movie that genuinely disturbs me. Really good horror film.

Didn’t SCREAM win this poll? 🤷🏻‍♂️

They have been talked out of watching Scream until they have seen other horror movies first, I think specifically Friday The 13th. It’s a shame we now have to wait, but it is what it is

Jay

Just Friday and Halloween, I hope anyway. I do get the feeling we're going to waiting a while for Scream. George said "by the end of the year", so they're not in a hurry:(

I'm pretty sure the Super Bowl Poster was a gag gift given to kids. The idea is that the kid (in this case Robbie) was given the poster because (so the gag goes) he WOULD be playing in the Super Bowl several years in the future. Sort of like when a Canadian parent dresses his or her son in a onesie that reads "Future Hart Memorial Trophy Winner." The actor who played Robbie was born in 1971 and so the character of Robbie had absolutely no chance of playing in the Super Bowl. I think the youngest players in NFL history were around 19 (and keep in mind that the Super Bowl is at the end of the season). BUT, wanna hear something creepy? (I know you do, but I wanted to ask to make sure I heightened the creepy factor.) On January 31, 1988, Heather O'Rourke (Carol Anne) started feeling flu-like symptoms at her home in Lakeside, CA (in San Diego County and about 25 miles Northeast of San Diego itself). The next morning, February 1, 1988, she collapsed and was rushed to a nearby hospital in El Cajon, CA. On the way, her heart stopped, but she was resuscitated. When her situation deteriorated, she was medevaced to the Children's Hospital of San Diego where it was discovered that her blood was full of bacterial toxins which were caused by a bowel obstruction which, in turn, was caused by some sort of congenital anomaly. Doctors performed surgery, but she died at 12:45. So, she started feeling ill on January 31, 1988 in a suburb of San Diego and died the next day. Do you want to know what else happened on January 31, 1988 in San Diego? Super Bowl XXII, the very Super Bowl on the poster.

One of my all time favorite movies. I'm so glad you guys loved it too.
