UPDATE: when I made this poll I didnt include Band of Brothers because I was having a hard time finding subtitles for it. I've finally found it and I am thinking to include it into the shooting schedule I have with my dad coming up. I want to mention that its only going to be 4 days and I will try to do all 10 episodes during those 4 days with him, plus a couple of movies from this list. Again, I will do my best to prioritize base on highest vote, but for now I cannot guarantee how many we can go through just simply due to time and back aches from sitting so long. Not to mention I really dont want my dad to spend his ENTIRE cooped up at my house. I could be wrong but I feel like given the choice, the show Band of Brothers is likely most desirable for a lot of you? please voice your opinions if that is not the case.

Hi folks! George here, my dad is flying in next week for a short visit and we plan to do a few more episodes together since the last one was so well received. I've compiled a list of movies, but I have no idea how many we can actually realistically film, so I want to see which ones to prioritize first via a vote. On this list you will find a mixture of war movies and films around food/restaurants since my dad is a veteran but career wise is a restaurateur/chef.
Just to be clear, this isn't a usual poll where the top 1-2 gets watched, I'm going to try to get ALL of it done, but I am not sure if there will be enough time so this poll is to Prioritize the list.

Full Metal Jacket is my favorite of the Vietnam War films (I mean it's Kubrick), but Band of Brothers is also amazing

Have you seen Rescue Dawn? A great Herzog film starring Christian Bale.

Robert Cooper

You obviously want to watch Chef. It's a great movie. Just watch it. ;)

Chef!!! At some point you have to watch it. Excellent father son movie!

Clearly not enough people have seen The Thin Red Line. Go watch it right now, you'll thank me later.

Man , I was hopeful that the lost battalion would be on this poll😒 , anyway all these films are great , and your dad would like all of them , however Fury is a movie that your dad could relate to the most . Fury is a must watch for your dad , but man it is gruesome . Whatever you decide to do George you really can't lose watching any of these

i'd like to offer the movie "Stripes" if it hasn't already been suggested, as an antidote to Full Metal Jacket or really anything on your list. give your dad a lil bit of levity!

Who Are These People

How about something that isn't more infantry combat? Does your dad like history? Maybe Apollo 13, the Imitation Game, Hunt for Red October, Titanic or Master and Commander, Les Miserables (Liam Neeson version is my favorite), or something like that.
