Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure - Patreon Version

Dogma's such a good movie. If you're worried about issues on YouTube why not do a Patreon only version.

Kevin Bartelen

The other two are great as well. I don't want to say too much about them though.

Jim Frykman

Yeah Dogma would be great! Nobody seems to have a reaction to that one.

I concur, Dogma for at least Patreon dude, I think Simone will dig it. Also, I'd love a reaction to Bogus Journey, I actually like it more than the first, and I haven't seen the newest one so that would be a cool first time watch for me too. Also, for more baby face Keanu, Parenthood with Steve Martin, sure I've recommended it before but I really like that movie (and how is Keanu older than Joaquin Phoenix? It's bonkers). And for more Billy The Kid, Young Guns 1 and 2, some of the hardcore Western purists may not like it but I think you guys would enjoy them, to me Emilio Estevez IS Billy the Kid. Have to mention the real San Dimas and water slides lol, they definitely filmed in multiple locations in Southern California and San Dimas is locally famous for Raging Waters, a super fun water park, but that was surely NOT Raging Waters, which is up in the foothills. I think they filmed at the same place that Karate Kid did as so-called "Golf 'n' Stuff", which was a place off the 10 Freeway near Azusa or someplace, I forget even what it was called, that or in Riverside, off the 91, I think Riverside Castle Park had water slides back then too. PS something personal: I think that may be my all time favorite Simone intro, "Welcome to Cinebinge, I love you." 🤣 Sheer brilliance.

Bogus Journey is amazing, should watch it.

I captured that phone booth dummies scene. It makes zero sense why they did that lol. Here's the link if anyone missed it. https://youtu.be/IWMwoS-Nqz0

George said he wished we all talked like that. Back in high school when this came out, we did start talking like that! The movie was a huge hit mostly for how fun Bill & Ted were (no one had heard of Keanu yet). Little things you missed: Freud always had a phallic symbol of some sort in his hand at all times. Beethoven was deaf so that is why he just kept playing when they took him. Socrates (we still all say So crates) was quoting a popular soap opera tag when "philosophizing" with Ted. The second and third movies in my opinion are worth watching but not as good as the original classic. Party on, Dudes!

Joan of Arc was in the Go-Gos, and then had a solo music career, too. I remember this very 80s hit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mS3S731LQUE&ab_channel=ClassicVideos80s

This movie is enjoyable, but honestly, I like Bogus Journey even more.

Honestly, I expect the first four Kevin Smith movies would all be solid successes on YouTube and Patreon. Maybe after that they'd fall off a bit.

They couldn't get Eddie van Halen, but at least they got Nuno Bettencourt for the mall sequence. Oh, and absolutely +1 for Dogma.
