Legit every reactor I follow on YouTube is watching this, this week. Seems rather strange. Like a memo went out or something. It’s a solid flick but I feel like it loses major steam after the wood chipper part.

Oh, look! It's the adorable hillbillies VERSE weevil. (Yes, that's ironic usage.)

I still quote the way Dale says, “We got your friend!” from this film. Lol It’s such a classic comedy with probably the highest number of Three’s Company-type of misunderstandings in one single film. It just gets funnier as the plot moves along.

If you enjoy Alan Tudyk, you will love Resident Alien. A tv show where he plays an alien who crashed on Earth and is hiding in a small town.....as their town doctor. Not necessarily for Reactions, though, just for personal enjoyment. it is on Syfy so it may be available on the Peacock app (not sure how they are distributed in Canada).

I just wanted to say to everyone who might be considering a Patreon sub to Cinebinge that you will not get a better value for your money. They consistently put out a ton of content even when they have planned vacations or a power outage. They go out of their way to make sure that their release schedule does not get interrupted. George and Simone are a joy to watch as well. I highly recommend at least a one month sub to check out their full content.

Movies I'd think fit for this film's inspirations: Deliverance The Hills Have Eyes (I'd go with the 2006 remake personally) Wrong Turn Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Original and 2003 remake especially) Evil Dead (You might be able to run through that whole franchise, including the show Ash vs The Evil Dead) Great reaction as always!

Do not attribute to malice that which can be attributed to ignorance - the Movie!

There is a pretty good film called The Battery that's about two hipsters surviving after a zombie apocalypse. Not a comedy but it has a great soundtrack.

This film makes a great double-feature with "Cabin in the Woods". While they played completely different characters, Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine were both in season 2 of the series "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" with Elijah Wood. It's one of the rare times that Alan has played a bad guy and he was really good in it. While I liked season 1 of the series better overall (it only ran for 2 seasons), s2 had some great moments, especially with those two actors in it.

This is the YT version so I'm assuming it will show up there when they make it public. If not I will post it again.

This movie is really enjoyable. I stop short of calling it good because I do think Chad as a character and his plot points (or contrivances) kind of mar the proceedings. Same with the ending at the bowling alley. The whole movie has strong themes of consent and respect for someone you have a thing for. And then ends with a creepy old dude dragging some chick off screen? No thanks. Speaking of horror-comedies*: You know what's a really good example of the genre? That right! It's Ravenous(1999). *It's a comedy in that there are parts of it that are funny and clearly intended to be. But the humor is *dark* and dry as a bone.

It will not. In order for a comment to show up on Youtube you have to post it… on youtube.

For some reason I thought I had clicked on the actual YT video. Posted it on that side now.

JayF

I have now posted it three times on the YT video comments and it keeps getting deleted. Sending George a DM here to see what might be causing it.

one of my favorites - thanks you two!
