March 2022 Situation Report (Patreon)

Okay! Here we are! Another month! First of all thank you all so much for your continued, generous support.

If you're in the discord server, you already know just how hard I've been working this past month for you all. I've been posting numerous WIP images and videos in the new discord server and it's been really great getting feedback from those of you who participate.

Now, let's break the status of the 2 current projects down.

1. Samus x Demon - I currently have 48 seconds of the animation fully animated and rendered. I'm going to start working on the next scene either later this week or this weekend. The next scene is where the viewer will be introduced to Samus now finally so I'll need to get a lot more work done on the Samus model to get her ready for animation. Like I said, I'm making this a movie. Ideally I want this animation to be between 5-10 minutes long.

2. Jill Poolside animation - I'm almost done with the main animation for this video. It'll definitely be finished before the Samus animation. I want to try to make it about 2 minutes long. I'm almost done with 1.5 minutes of main movement. After that, I need to do several physics simulations, get the voice recording from PixieWillow and then do facial animation and final details/polish. My tentative goal is if I bust my ass on this I want to try to have it finished before the end of March.

I think I like this way of working on projects for you guys. After the Jill project, I'm going to continue to make smaller animation projects so neither you nor I get bored waiting on the massive Samus animation to get finished. As usual, each respective tier will be able to make suggestions on what the smaller animations will deal with and vote on them accordingly. I hope to keep you all entertained as we progress through the shit show that is 2022.
