UPDATE to $5 (Hatchling) Patreon Tier (Patreon)

UPDATE: Starting today I'm changing the way my $5 (Hatchling) tier works. When I started my Patreon account I started it like most other artists, where the lowest tier would get you sketch/wip access and then the next tier would be for coloured works. When I first announced my opening, one of the first comments was someone complaining about the price of the 4K coloured/alts $10 access so I swapped the tier with the $5 tier out of pressure 6 years ago. This was a terrible idea and I'm finally reverting it to how it should have been from the start.

For any NEW patrons from today and existing Patrons from 1st August:

$5 (Hatchling) Patrons will have access to sketches/wips ONLY

$10+ Patrons will see no change


I will be DMing every existing Patron to let you know of this change. Any EXISTING $5 patrons will get coloured access this month. $10+ patrons will not see any difference in the access they receive as they already had sketches+coloured work access.

Another big reason is that my art has improved significantly over the last 6 years and when you include inflation compared to other artists I'm now really starting to undervalue myself with my content.

I hope you guys understand. I've been wanting to do this for years but was worried about a backlash but most of you here will understand my reasoning for this.

Yo, just read the message, I don't think it's gonna make it for me, other creator have done the same, and if every other do the same, i will be obligated to make some sacrifice... And I REALLY don't wanna do it. Sorry.

It's a shame you don't feel I'm worth the pledge anymore but I want to thank you for your support all the same :) With a lot of creators offering extra content and running Patreon accounts I understand if you don't feel I'm worth it compared to the other creators you support. I feel that my work has improved a lot in the last 6 years and I feel it was a bad mistake to give in to the pressure of complaints on literally day one six years ago. Hopefully in time you'll think my art is worth supporting again :)

I already have other patrons, I'm sorry but I'd rather use the money for more than one artist, your art is really good but sadly I'll be leaving at the end of July.

I'm likely going to drop support as a result of this price hike. There's other creators I'd rather support

i hope it works out but it's a shame though! has i support other artists plus other things online i have to pay dunno if i can make the extra 5 :/
