Yay! Already had a copy pre-ordered, but I think I’ll go see if there are any copies at my local B&N so that I can read as much as possible before your virtual tour this week! Since it’s just out there early and all. 😂 Also, nice shirt!

I’m just after watching this video then deciding to preorder the book. Apparently it’s July 26 in the U.K. or at least that’s when the (non Amazon) retailer I chose is saying. Good luck with the virtual tour!

I was originally going to see you and John Scalzi at Kepler's Books in Menlo Park, CA back in the pre-pandemic times. Yesterday I received a message from Kepler's books stating that it had been reorganized as a virtual event on August 6. This is a real thing, right? :)

Just ordered from Malaprops! That’s my favorite bookstore. I’m both wrecked that I could’ve come and seen you in person, and so jazzed that you’re still pressing on with a virtual tour. Also - the Tolkien literature video was great, especially because it happily reinforces the idea that all of us creatives have these ultra-personal passion projects that we’re afraid to let see the light of day. Keep it up, and can’t wait till Monday!

I agree that would have been cool, but that’s a whole other trade of skill (“We love your cooking. Can you farm?”) Also a huge time commitment of reading a whole freakin’ book and then re-recording parts for audio quality/delivery/etc.
