I'll have some sketches for you in a couple of days. Seems you all want a female partner for out main character so that's what I've been up to. I also decided on the first dozen rooms to be made. More on that later.

Since our team is going to be a male/female duo, I've been thinking of how to distribute the stats. I've had this idea for awhile now - a single set of stats for both of them, but some stats are exclusive to the male lead and others to the female.

For example:

Male - testosterone (like physical strength, guts and all that other glorious manliness rolled into one), technique (both technical and romantic if you know what I mean), vigor (endurance sounds sooo boring).

Female - ticklishness and foot-smell (of course), and maybe level-headedness (I'm thinking she should play the straight-man in this duo, since the male lead will most likely be off chasing feet and tickles.)

Anyway, tell me any suggestions if you have them. Some kind of weird/interesting/funny rpg stat or a different application of a classic one.

Another thing - two stats will be depletion stats. Think of something like health and sanity in Lovecraft games. If they ever get to zero, game over. I'm thinking willpower tied to the male (if it gets to zero you lose all your self-control to your libido and become a permanent foot/tickle slave) and patience tied to the female (how long is she going to keep up with your shenanigans).

I'm seeing the Disco Elysium inspiration. Will there be a skill check system in a similar fashion (a mixture of luck and modifiers)?

Sure. I'm still thinking about the specifics, but there will be some variant of stats + roll. I was thinking of implementing a 'deck' from which you draw cards with modifiers (+1, -1, +2, -2, like in Gloomhaven) but I don't think it'll have any purpose. I'll most likely just do the dice roll.
