OK, let's be blunt - the 5$ tier is effed. It's clearly not worth it to anyone. Most patrons go for either 1$ (less) or 10$ (a lot more). Now, don't get me wrong, I like getting patrons in my highest tier, but what I like doing even more is giving my patrons good value, and the 5$ is not.

1$ tier will be mostly unchanged. The patrons here will be getting works that will go public one month in advance and will be eligible for contests and suchlike.

10$ tier will be mostly unchanged as well. This will be the WIP (work in progress) section, where big projects will go first before going into the lower tiers when they're done. Also, form now on sketches and unfinished ideas will also be going there. I doesn't make sense that sketches are found in one tier but the creative team (so to speak) ids in another. In this tier there will also be voting on what sketches to finish, and more input on the work at hand.

And now we get to the 5$ tier. I'll be implementing a temporary gallery here. These will be patreon only pictures. Every month this tier will vote on 1 or 2 pictures that we will be sending out into the world. Nothing much will outwardly change. Internally, there will now be a temporary pool of patreon exclusive pictures that will constantly be updated, with content trickling out. I'll also be posting high res pictures here in the 5$ tier. The resolution of works I post publicly will not change, it's just that I'll be posting the original (work) resolutions here. I'm not a big fan of high res drawings myself (no artist is, lowering the resolution masks some of the mistakes), but some people like it, so why not?

Also, in this tier, there will still be votes on what pictures to make, like it was so far. It'll lose the sketches and the voting on what sketches to finish, but I haven't noticed that they were a good value for people. I'll also try to divvy up big projects into smaller chunks. This comic was stuck way too long in the top tier and the other tiers suffered for it. Instead, I'll try to make, say 10 page pieces and send them downwards. I'll try to increase my overall output in general.

I plan to implement these changes starting next month.

The main philosophy still hasn't changed - I still want all of my work publicly available, as we all like free stuff. But, I also want to reward you guys, the people without whom I never would have progressed as much as I did. Because of you I want to better myself (at least as an artist).

I'd like to hear your thoughts and ideas? Is there anything else you you can think of that I can implement here?

IN OTHER NEWS: Thinking of a new project. Right now, I'm working on the rewards for our last contest winners - a three page comic and a big picture. I have an animation in the idea stage, so there's that as well.

Thank you for your time.
