I'd like to get your thoughts on these potential new reactors! Guy on the left is named Elijah and is a jazz trombonist with perfect pitch, guy on the right is named Aidan and is a jazz guitar player with relative pitch and wants to become a music producer/recording engineer. While I like their after-MV commentary, I feel like we need more expressive reactors with the ability to comment while listening to the music for the first time. BUT perhaps that skill will come with time as these two are completely new to K-Pop and active-listening on camera. What do you guys think?

I like them! I feel like some less expressive reactors are completely fine to mix in with the more big-reaction oriented reactors. The sound design and production side is a really valuable addition, and it sounds like they lean in that direction. I also prefer it when reactors are a bit more on the critical side (as these two seem to be), and it makes me trust their comments more.

Though I suspect there may be some difference between the Patreon audience and the wider Youtube audience: it seems Youtube is much less into the more critical-leaning reactions - probably because a big chunk of views there comes from the fanbases of the groups themselves?

I think if you look back on all your reactors from previous seasons all of them definitely got more comfortable and more vocal during videos as they got more reps under their belt. I actually don't mind not being as reactive during the listen like every single other kpop reactor bc the magic of your channel is what happens afterwards and the immense knowledge and skill all of you have to actually break down the music post listen
