Thanks for this reaction! I also feel NewJeans' vocals sound more developed and full than the original, but they still paid homage to the original. In general I've noticed Nwjns vocals lean more lower register, chill, consistent vocals rather than the high notes, crazy runs, and belting that the k-pop industry thinks is synonymous with good singing. They're such a breath of fresh air.
