Definitely was thinking of you guys when I first heard the piece. It is still a good song to me, but like many of the musicians here pointing out, the sample is on a loop for way too long and it's just a few bars so it gets repetitive over time (repetition is definitely YG's wheelhouse, I personally think that many of their songs overuse it and some came across as "lazy writing" to me). What Brian pointed out is quite genius! Great reactions and insights!
