Consider me bummed because there was a fun synthy layer to the cool breakdown bit in the MV that wasn’t in the studio recording ☹️ I didn’t realize until you guys replayed it!

Something I only just realized about that bit is the rhythm is actually in *quarter note triplets*. I initially assumed dotted 8ths with some kind of ritard, probably because of the aggressively 16th-note groove of the rest of the song.
