First off, I could care less if someone likes a song… that’s not why I subscribe to React To The K (or any reaction channel) or why I’m about to go on a rant. I’m subscribed to your channel to hear informed commentary on a genre of music I happen to enjoy and because y’all hear music in a way I will never fully grasp as the average music lover… to use a random analogy I once heard at a police seminar on drug sniffing dogs and how they do what they do; if I walk into a kitchen and there’s soup cooking on the stove, I smell soup… whereas the canine smells every single ingredient that makes up the soup. I’ve only recently made the jump to Patreon to better support channels I enjoy, so I don’t know if this ‘Un-Cut’ is the norm or not… but what I do know is that I did not sign up to hear two a**holes sh*t all over someone else’s work while disrespecting the group, the production team and their fans for 15 mins. You know, the work and people you are literally making money off the backs of. My other takeaway from their portion of the video is that in dude’s opinion it’s absolute trash and therefore, me and anyone else who likes the song, is either just a fan who will like anything the group puts out no matter what and/or we’re just lying saying we like it… SO, DID YOU HEAR THAT KEVIN AND OWEN? Y’all are either just fanboys blindly loving anything the group does because there’s absolutely no way that you could possibly form your own opinion about something as subjective as art OR WORSE, you’re lying in order to pander to your viewers. Love, hate, like or dislike it that’s totally up to the listeners taste… I will always want a reactors genuine opinion, but it needs to be respectful. You are profiting off these performers, it’s the very f*cking least any reactor can and should do.

Yeah I gave them quite a but of feedback after this reaction. I think they’ll choose their words more carefully in the future :) P.s. Kevin genuinely loves this song. Talked more about it with him today! If you want to DM him about it, i’m sure he’d be down to talk more about it.

Glad to hear it, and thank you for responding. Generally speaking, I don't normally go around scolding people over reaction videos, but this one got me heated! 😄 Kevin's my favorite, but I don't need a one-on-one... most of what he says goes clean over my head anyways. But I have to say, he was correct in the repetition creates validation... I absolutely despised that friggin flute and tapping sound the first 20 some odd times I heard the song because it's ALL I could focus on, but finally my brain gave up and let them blend into the rest of the instrumental and now I genuinely love the track. What used to seem super bare and dissonant, now sounds very full and not weird at all. 🤷‍♀️ Also, if you haven't seen it yet, they dropped a behind the scenes vid of the members hearing the demo for the first time... it's pretty funny. It also gives you the impression that they have veto power as a group if they didn't want to go forward with it.
