welcome back! hope you had a great time! love poem is actually my favorite kingdom performance because im basic and i vibe with ballads but also because im so proud of seungmin (and im stray kids biased). idk ballads/vocal performances with less people are more interesting to me? because as you said the singers have more time. so i dont really go back to listen to spark but i Do go back to listen to love poem all the time and im on my knees begging for them to put it on spotify (even though in the episode they said the live version sounded better than the recorded one, whatever). so you know. i was with the judges voting so hard for love poem. spark was fun tho! it's mostly biased, my enjoyment of it, so take my praises with a grain of salt i guess

Nothing against Inseong (he's great) but I don't know what you listened to because his voice cracked pretty bad (poor thing felt all the pressure). As Jay K said in his comment I also loved the love poem stage (maybe I was impressed because I didn't knew the song). I'm a SKZ stan too and was (and still am) beyond impressed by Seungmin's vocals, he has improved so much! I also LOVED Jongho's vocals more than any Ateez song EVER. And Eunkwang is Eunkwang, no explanation needed am I right?

aaaah! i have been waiting for this reaction yeay! but i think you have Round 3 part 2 performances to watch, no? or have you reacted to them? anyway, the love poem stage was truly amazing honestly, i think Eunkwang did say it was more of emotion driven performance rather than a visual equipped one(?) and the fact that eunkwang himself rearranged and distributed the parts to each member and it fitted them so well.. im so happy that they were able to showcased their voices .. and for Its One, i actually really do love how the song turned out to be, inseong probably felt so much pressure during the stage because he was really great during practices and the rehearsal before, and i agree i think vocal performances with lesser people makes me concentrate on each of their voices.

I love that you mentioned Eunkwang's more classical approach to vibrato and delivery toward the end of Love Poem. His mother is an opera singer, so he was training in classical vocal performance long before he became a trainee, and he's a major part of why BtoB is known as the vocal kings of kpop. He is responsible for the arrangement and part delegation for the Love Poem performance as well. He and his mother performed together not too long ago. You should check it out. It's beautiful.
