If you don't want to be bothered by censorship, you could just host an integrated discord. You can post works in a dedicated chat, or links to Google Drive(s) or Dropbox or Mega.nz. The discord step makes it less likely for a takedown as there's no easy way for bots to scrub for it. You don't even need social tabs, just an archive and patreon/subscribestar/fanbox integration and maybe one for polls. Don't need mods if there's no room for discourse.

It also adds extra steps in the way of "unexpected distributions". Some artists are very focused on exclusivity, and discord integrations help.

My only issue with fambox is that they crack down on censorship, and I hate it. I'll give your fanbox a peek, though.

Have you tried making a Dropbox or mega folder with a password that only the people who payed, have the password
