Hello everyone I got a favor to ask. I stumbled upon a deviant on deviantart who is literally taking stuff from me and others and posting it on its own deviantpage as a free download. I already reported this person, but deviantart seems not doing anything about it. I never claimed any of the stuff I ported as my own. I simply "charge for the hours of work" I put into a conversion to DAZ. For anyone who hasn't the means or the money, I generally turn my older conversions after amount of time to free so anyone can enjoy it. I simply don't know what to do. If anyone has some ideas I would love to hear them and would be happy if you could also report this user.

This is the page: https://www.deviantart.com/ifollowwarezaccs/gallery

Edit: Thanks everyone I will work with the suggestions!

I hate that people do this. You obviously put a bunch of work in (work that they're not willing to do, or they'd be porting clothing and characters, too), and their response is completely childish. I think the watermark suggestion by Xavier is good. As for securing your work, I think that's going to be a big challenge. What I hope ultimately happens is that the increased exposure this "sharing" gives you leads more people become Patreon supporters of you in order to ensure that you keep doing the awesome work that you do. You're one of five DAZ content producers who's work is top-noch, so your abilities are absolutely going to be in demand.

I am not competent to offer legal advice in this area, so nothing herein should be taken as legal advice, but it seems to me as an unqualified observer that your work should be protected by copyright. As DeviantArt's notes on copyright state, I believe that they are legally required (at least in the U.S., under the DMCA) to remove copyright-infringing works immediately upon receiving a credible report. It would then be up to the potential infringer to argue that their post should be restored as non-infringing. If you reported the copyright infringement through their website and they failed to take action then you might look at other means of issuing DMCA takedown notices.
