The Jungle just got more dangerous!

Our upcoming BBS update will have a brand new enemy, a massive piranaha plant monster who is salivating at the thought of voring you for dinner!Multi-Directional Attacks!

While he cannot move, the piranha plant sports incredible range and tremendous power. He will aim his attack based on the players last position, so make good use of your dash and jump or you'll served up for lunch!

The Piranha Plant likes to spawn in corners, corridors and beneath two vertical platforms. It will be more difficult to breeze through stages without scouting out your surroundings first!

Tastey Treats!

Once caught, you will need to struggle to escape the slippery wet mouth of the Piranha plant as it's big slimy tongue licks and swirls around your crotch! We can only show one frame of the sex scene for the public post as things get lewd quickly as the Piranha plant sucks sucking you down.

New Animation Overhauls!

Ever wondered why Verge's feet were facing forward during his walk animation? Worry no more, as it has been fixed! Hopefully you can see our animation improvements already simply from working on the game for a few months. Kabs will be cleaning up some other animations and bad frames that were present during our reveal demo.

Pallet System Overhaul!

To better optimize the game, all pallet swaps are now achieved using an ingame shader that updates colors on each frame. This means all characters only need one frame export, and as many pallet swaps as you want, even custom ones!

This method also means we can change the players color for powerups, such as flashing red during a damage up! It will also make conversions easier for Patrons who want to use our animations for fan projects such as MUGEN or RPGMaker.

Physics Engine Overhaul!

We're switching from BOLT scripting to Rex Engine, which will fix many of our odd physics issues present in previous builds. Rex specializes in platforming games and has tools available for developers to quickly make dashes, wall slides, gravity-switches and other cool effects that will make BBS more fun to play! Our chest item upgrades will be updated at the same time, as many of them will rely on the new engine to modify the players stats and behaviors in new and interesting ways.

We do need to rebuild the player, stage and enemies in the new engine will which take most of our time in the upcoming month, but once it's done we'll be able to do a lot of cool new things with our new toolkit. We will have some more new art assets to share when the build is ready to go public!
