Mr Jackpots

The South Korean legal system is quite different from English/American law. Criminal Law is modeled on the European system used by France and Germany. Suspects can be interrogated without a lawyer present and there is no trial by jury. If a jury is present, they are only there to advise the judge who makes all the rulings on their own. Civil Law is based on Japanese Civil Law (itself based on German Civil Law) that was in effect when Korea was a Japanese possession. It's almost impossible to remain anonymous online in South Korea. Even using a VPN isn't a guarantee of anonymity. VPNs operating in South Korea had to agree to turn over records of people using the service for anything the government decides is illegal.
