I do wish whoever was responsible had been willing to give Mary McDonnell a less flattering hairstyle. Her taking the wig off loses a lot of its power when her real hair actually looks better.

Didn’t pay too much attention to Mary’s wig reveal the first time I saw this show. Mind you, it was quite late at night when I first saw this episode. Episodes four through to the end I was up super late watching them all; finally got to bed around quarter to four in the morning. I did hear people express similar sentiments to what you commented. And upon seeing the show again, upon paying stricter attention to that part, I conceded, “Yeah. I give you that one.”
