This was an excellent episode. Right out the gate, they open with a great scene of June. My brain’s still wrapping itself around the dissonance in that Jenna Elfman is more a comedic actress, or I should say she often appears in more comedic work. Yet, this opening scene alone reminds us how good she is, and I'm sitting there saying, “Goddamn, Dharma’s a badass! She’s rocking the shit in this thing!” I knew you would not care for the needles. I didn’t either. I was yelling, “Ok! That is not, that, that, that is an unnecessary closeup, show!” Sidenote, you discussed the iv being the worst part of your recent surgery, although I've only had one surgery about twenty-six-twenty-seven years ago, I do recall not being the biggest fan of the iv, so I hear you on that one. Yeah, disturbing and fucked up the nefarious shit that’s on the train. I got a laugh when you said, “Look who took decorating tips from the Governor.” My reply is, “Well, my first thought was they took a page out of the Sith Lord’s Home and Garden Handbook, but yes, I suppose the Governor makes more sense, inspiration-wise.” Adrian felt a strong example of how fucked up it is that PADRE is separating parents from their children. You describe Adrian potentially being unhinged and crazy, considering the circumstances, can’t say I blame him. Like I commented on youtube, Adrian’s final scenes, and your reaction to them got me. Now onto what they do to Finch. Yeah, that was a shock. The heart breaks for both Dwight and Sherry. I'm of a similar mind in that the primary reason I got through the scene without crying was because of how shocking it was. Plenty sad, the scene was. I kind of anticipated June losing her finger in retaliation for her past slicing off of the fingers shenanigans. You mentioned thinking it had already happened whilst she was unconscious, I knew they would do it to her whilst she was awake as the pain would be much more satisfying to Shrike.
