Text Announcement: Update on Life, Joining the Army (Patreon)

Hello Everyone, I’ve got a lot to share with you today, so if you want the short summary, here's my tl;dr:

tl;dr: My mom is moving back to her home country so I have to be financially independent, and my best opportunity is joining the US Army. It’ll help pay for comfortable living and the benefits will help both me and my GF. I’ll be leaving probably early May, and I’m not sure if I’ll be back as early as August or as late as November. We have Ralsei spitroast to post for you guys, along with Sketchbooks and WIP’s. Thank you for the support :D I’ll keep drawing as soon as I get back! <3

So hey guys :) I have not been posting for a while because a lot of things have been happening in my life in the past 2 months. My gf who helps me post got sick with covid, twice, so I had to be around for her and help comfort her back to health. I also decided to quit caffeine from my diet, so I’ve been going through some pretty bad caffeine withdrawals. It was very tough for me to stay up at all and I would get the occasional headaches here and there, but I overall feel better not relying on coffee to stay awake :D. But the main reason I did not upload is because I was very anxious trying to figure finance stuff out now that my main support is going to go away. That is, my mom is moving back to her home country. I’ve known she was going to move back for a little under 2 years, but now that the move is right around the corner, I had to come up with ways I need to support myself and my GF, and my Art isn’t quite going to suffice. . . at least not yet. It’s gotten farther than I imagined it would when I had started pursuing this career 4 1/2 years ago, but being able to completely financially support myself and my GF to comfortably facilitate our lives is still a while away. A lot has happened over the past 2 months for me and It was very claustrophobic with anxiety that was at its peak.

Now we fast forward to right now, what’s my solution? I have decided to join the US Army. I made this decision because I sort of kept it in the back of my head as a Plan B, in case my art career doesn’t take off the way it needs to yet. That being said, I still love drawing Furry Art and Gfur and have had a lot of fun drawing so far this year. My goal is to be self-sufficient through art, and that’s not quite achievable yet so I’m using the army as an opportunity to financially support myself and my GF. I know it’s a scary choice, considering how our world is heading geopolitically, but there aren’t exactly a lot of options. Finding a full-time job in Los Angeles has been a struggle with how our economy is right now, especially with only a GED. And some credits in an Art College, you could imagine how far those would get you lol. By joining the army, it will be able to financially provide for me and my gf, along with the benefits that come with it like helping pay rent and healthcare.

So what happens in the future? I’ll be leaving for basic training (which will take 10 weeks) sometime around the end of April/start of May. It’s not a set date yet but I’ll keep you updated. We'll be posting the last few pieces I’ve made before I leave. They're remasters of my old Ralsei drawings I did a while back in 2018, and there will be three parts of it (10 pics total!!), so I hope you guys are excited for them!~ I poured a lot of hours on them. And of course I'll be posting February and March Sketchbooks. I didn’t post Sketches in February cuz there was like only 4 sketches lol. Along with the sketchbooks will be all the WIP’s that haven’t been finished quite yet and won’t be able to finish until basic training is done, like Maxie’s Femboy Fridays and Juni’s Uber Ass. Because I finished Ralsei pics I don't think I'll be posting the WIP’s. These will be my last pieces I will be uploading to my Patreon, for now.

So when part three of Ralsei is posted, my Patreon will be held on standby and freezed, so no outgoing payments go out for the time I am gone. I wouldn’t want you guys to be shelling me money when I’m literally not even drawing, or even able to interact with any of you lol. I’ll unfreeze it when I get back from basic training and have enough free time to draw, upload, and feel comfortable with monthly billing again. I’m not really sure when I’ll get back, because it could be as early as August, or even all the way in November. Either way I’ll be back. I bought a Steam Deck which acts as a portable hard drive and interface for me to use my drawing tablet and post my art with lol. Furry Art is still a very important part of my life and I will not give up on it and I wish to keep pursuing it as my career after my service, and during my service. So with that all said I am grateful to you all for supporting my Patreon. I don’t want this to come off as me being ungrateful for your guy’s amazing contribution and allowing me to draw and pursue GFur as a career, but I’m at a point where I need to prioritize being financially stable first, and the Army is the best opportunity I have. I need this for the sustainability of my art career, even if I have to sacrifice a few months of drawing. So with allllllll of that said, I’ll see you guys shortly late Monday night for part 1 of Ralsei, and we’ll keep you updated after that :)
