FBtW Chapter 13 finished version! (Android Fix) (Patreon)

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!

We have undergone a slight internal rearrangement of Chapters to bring them to a consistent format, make it easier for people to jump between the builds, and generally streamline the experience.

Chapter 13 is what previously was called Chapter 9p1, and future chapters will, from now on, increase incrementally with each update.

This is the last change to the VN format, and by the end of the year, we should have the entirety of the story merged, with the Chapter Select menu serving as an easy navigation tool.

I’m sorry for the slight delay, but this build is finally complete and contains all the sprite work intended for this release.

To start the latest instalment, simply press Start.

Can't post screenshots, but I opened the APK to see the internal file structure and I don't see anything named strandbard_agora in the backgrounds folder.

This is an issue with the Adroid build we're trying to investigate. The asset should be there, as it is present with every other build version, but this. We will let you guys know by the end of the day.

Same android bug here. I noticed i had two copies installed on my tablet, removed both versions and the save games. Hopefully a patch isn't too far off :)

Oh that was so much fun. Sadly I think thier return is going to be even less happy than they anticipate. Not only is Calin returning but the negotiations were a success which I don't think was part of the bigger plan.

It says that the package appears to be invalid on android. I was able to read it until the scene with the hoops, but I can't even open the VN at all with the new apk download...

I really wanna know this as wellll. Based on the lyrics it sounds like it was recorded specifically for the game, refering to the stranded bard inn specifically, unless thats a real place. If this is the case we neeeed access to the song lmao

omg this release was so good. i was not expecting the song in the taver (definitly a BOP) i am kinda disapointed that we are going back to tirnan with ranok. i feel like if he left us in strandbard it wouldve been great for more character development. but maybe that because i like tragedies. i also wonder how they are gonna tell the chief that we are the ones that talked to the magestrate. oh well i guess we'll see in ch9pt2

I think we have now seen how the MC's language ability now works. He can only speak to someone in the language they first learned. It worked this way for everyone except the Lyxian merchant, but he may be a native of Tigaron and so Tigerii would be his first language. As such, they may not be able to explain "how" he does this but they can explain him understanding and knowing the wolven language (and any language for that matter) and that no one had to teach it to him. Also since Verissa already tested him for any traces of arcane energies in his blood and found none, it's probably not a magical ability but a spiritual one. Also, no one tried to talk to him in Tigerii until he was already on his way to Strand Bard.

At the first feast in the village the chief tried speaking to the MC in multiple languages. One of which I believe was Tigerii. As you stated the language we speak to each person is dependent on there (probably first) language. But we so far have no control over it. We change languages depending on who we are directly talking to. My worry is that if Ranok tells the chief that we are the ones who talked to the magistrate, the chief will most likely try to talk with the MC. But if we talk back we would be speaking the wolves language, which as you know is not allowed for outsiders to know. ( not even the bunnies who are native to the forest are allowed to learn) and especially with the Howl coming up, we are in for a rough time.
