Hey guys~!


After careful deliberation, and listening to the feedback from the community, I've decided to move FBtW to a more episodical scheduling.

Instead of hoarding chapters for weeks on end, to release one several hours long update, we'll be having shorter, hour-long updates more frequently.

This should help keep the ball rolling, as well as satisfy the hunger for more FBtW content.

So, without further ado, here is the first part of chapter 7! The following part should be released around the 20-25th!

When ever I try and load my latest save I get an error message saying that it cannot be played, do you know what's going on?

I've tried starting it from the beginning and that seems to work okay, but it's a bit of a hassle.

If you're having trouble loading a last save, you can choose the new Chapters option at the main menu to skip to Chapter 7 (you'll have to pick which options you chose earlier throughout the novel, but it only takes like a minute).

At this point I am DYING to know how tokens work in this society. Does their worth in the village depend on the wolf that owns them? Does it let you get more from that wolf than others?

For those having trouble with saves, relaunch the previous build and save in a new slot. Then return to the new build. That worked for me.

Finally, I wanna cry so much, that last bit with Vul...its what I've been wanting for this entire game. Such a beautiful update. That night on the porch, that banter in the centre, our errand. I really love that wolf <3

I think I know why the earlier saves are no longer working. Seems there have been some edits on the earlier two days in novel between the last release to this one. More text added, new information. And thus it is throwing a tantrum when you try and load a save from two days or less ago.

Kael has had a bit of an unfortunate string of events. He's informed us on Discord that he was feeling ill from the Vaccination he received, and then had a case of food poisoning. Both have forced him to delay the release of the newest patreon update, and he will be pushing the date of the Public update as well.
