Content

I made a new channel that I'll be testing and posting when I can on for Anime and Japanese music. I have made several posts/polls interest checking on the idea and overall, it seemed like the majority preferred only kpop/korean content and weren't as interested in anime, understandably so. Of course there are others, like myself, who love both and this can be inconvenient to those, and I understand. For me, it makes the most sense for me to take the path of least resistance. I'm mentally, unable to deal with the stress and stuff of always being questioned and feeling like I'm running in place when it comes to posting content so it makes the most sense for me to post freely on this new channel and see where it goes. In addition to that, I wanted to try to bring kdrama edited versions to the main channel. I thought that would be fair.

In addition to the new channel, I created a new Patreon. My last post was not me encouraging you all to go on the highest tier on the new Patreon, or even the lowest. I actually posted the only video I have on that page basically, here for y'all. I've always felt like some people thought I've been money hungry or something over the past few years every time I'd make a tier change so when it comes to stuff like this I feel like I have something to prove. I was simply letting you all know where the content would be, if I were to be able to grow the Plus channel like I'd hope. If I can get an editor, and post consistently then that's what would be going on there, eventually.

My goal with that page was mainly community. I wanted to make it simple and cheap. $3 anime reactions and select Patreon exclusive shows and a $10 schedule-less tier, where I post bulk reactions as I film them (kinda early access in a way), sometimes movies, sometimes exclusive shows. That's cheaper than this, because anime is shorter and I'd be able to do much more for less (if we reached that point). Most of my reactor friends/peers post anime at $10-15, and I get it, but that was part of my point. I'd rather have a large community of people having conversation about the show then trying focusing on money... I have 5,000 subscribers y'all. My main priority is not trying to make more money with that, I'm just trying to reach new people and try other styles of reactions to what I like. It's keeping things fresh and fun for me. If I solely wanted more money, I'd just try to do more k-content here since this is actually my main job.

I'm sure most of you are aware that overall, different communities have different personalities and interact with things differently. As much as I want to have everyone who enjoys my reactions in one place, no matter the content, I feel as if it would bump heads with the general response that content gets here. For instance, I feel like if I were to post 5 episodes of an anime, someone here would question me asking "Where is episode 8 of Bloodhounds?" "When will you post the reaction to ____?" because they seen that I posted 5 new videos on anime and they're not interested in that. The same thing could happen with the anime watchers. I didn't want any one side, to be a way with the other, or even be a way me if I leaned more into posting a particular type of content (kpop/anime).

I'm really trying to make things make sense, to everyone. That's all, I care too much and want to make sure we're all on the same page but sometimes we read the  same page differently.

If the community grows there, then in the future I'll ask both sides if they can coexist under one Patreon roof, otherwise, I think it's best to be separate.

Either way, check out the channel if you want, support if you want, I'm not suggesting join Patreon as it is barely running. I'm not asking for more money, I only post every 3 months on that channel currently. Just want some more people to engage with the posts as they go live, it's encouraging when starting a new channel.

*In case you didn't know, 'anthony too' meant also anthony (since I had another channel called Anthony) and it was supposed to be a play on "Anthony reacts to that too?" like, watching multiple types of content or anthony and friends too (whenever there's friends with me). It made sense for me to simplify it to A2R which is still 'anthony too' reacts but shorter.'*
