Watching this one with Bris! I'm liking the way that this first episode was! It was intense, showed a good bit of emotion and I really like our main character. He's so just and righteous!

Aye bris is here👏🏾 It’s me watching this at work😂 usually I hate when people request shows just cause they r popular but this one is legit. it’s def worth the time/process of reacting to it and is a good show. And not y’all questioning if she signed it when the whole conversation was the answer😆 they wouldn’t of done all that if she didn’t. Now y’all doing all this research y’all better not be asking questions later on👀 lol.

also to explain the whole military/hyung thing, woojin is older then gunwoo so gunwoo calls him hyung but because gunwoo was in a higher class in the marines ( bcs he joined earlier them woojin ) is formal language used because even in the military if you are younger but joined earlier then for a nother person who is older and joined after you he still needs to speak to you with formality because you are higher up even if he is a hyung

Been a huge fan of Woo Dohwan since watching Save Me 6 years ago, love him! Ohh and Yoon Yu Seon playing his mom, she's such a phenomenal actress I'm always happy to see her! Also a big fan of Park Sungwoong, he wasn't really in CLOY it was just a cameo but he's in so much since he's such a popular actor, I especially recommend "The smile has left your eyes", "When the devil calls your name", "Man to man" and "Method". Lee Sang Yi is also cool! Choi Siwon is indeed a member of Super Junior but no they're not just starting to act after their singing/idol career, they still doing that and have been acting for a very long time. Siwon is one of South Korea's top actors! I have only watched the first episode (I rewatched with you) so idk if he's in the whole show or just a cameo tho. As far as I know around 18 casinos exist in the country but only foreigners are allowed except for the Kangwon Land Casino, which is the only casino where Korean citizens are legally allowed to gamble. While it's true that it's even illegal for them to gamble while abroad many do it anyways. It's usually fine if you're a regular person (not a celebrity or otherwise easily recognizable or influential) and you're not spending tons of money but only a little occasionally for fun. There's also a difference between gambling and games/sports as the latter is mostly legal I'm pretty sure. Then there's also Koreans with dual citizenship so if they have US citizenship it should be legal for them to gamble there as well I think. Looks good so far, I wouldn't say I love it yet but interesting enough to keep going imo and the constant covid mentions are totally fine since they tie in with the story.

i'm so happy you started this one ! i literally binged the entire thing in two sittings, it's so GOOD. i love how adorable gunwoo and woojin's friendship is. like they have such a pure bond and they only JUST became friends. like i was ready to go to war for them at all times. it was so painful to watch such a good, soft hearted person get done so dirty like that during the ending fight scene, gunwoo losing that fight is my villain origin story lol. i found myself just hoping woojin came to the rescue and they were able to fight side by side. but,, this is my FAVORITE drama we've gotten out of netflix in a LONNNG time. we need more action ones like this that will get you attached to the characters and storyline in EP ONE.

yess i was hoping you would do this! the cast of this show was full of some of my favorite actors esp Dohwan I'll always clock in for his shows. fun fact the two leads are besties irl I literally watched dohwan and sangyi together on a variety/reality show called I live alone a couple months back and their dynamic here is basically the same as this idk if the show was supposed to come out earlier but covid is actually the perfect setting for a loan shark plot. people were being scammed and preyed on like crazy during 2020

Lol they did mention covid a lot but it's the perfect setting bc loan sharks made bank during the pandemic. Also my mom was stationed in Korea and mentioned about ignoring crime or people in trouble. If you see something you basically gotta act like you didn't because unless it ends in a serious arrest or the person wants to press charges you'll end up getting fined especially if you're a foreigner

i saw your post and figured i'd use this as an opportunity to watch it once with no subs and then watch it again with y'all to see what i missed.... had to cover the screen the last 5 mins once beom got involved on the watchthrough with y'all smh but this def seems like it'll be a good show!!
