Sup Crew!

We've got a few days left in the month and so I wanted to update you all real quick. I've been getting a few comments and messages asking questions about some things so I wanted to address it publicly.

"Where's the ______ reaction?"

The month is not over yet. The point of doing the schedule trial again was to provide no dates, just a broad outline of what is expected to come during the month. I can record/post up until midnight on the last day of the month and still achieve that deadline.

The most requested things this month was Boys Planet and content with Seventeen. I've yet to post the final episode of TGC w/ SVT but the main thing that's remaining is Boys Planet. I'm also working on the next drama in advance so that's taking time out of filming as well. Please be patient, you will likely see all that stuff uploaded 5 videos at a time.

Things are becoming a bit confusing for me, I am trying to navigate the wants of the patrons while also finishing other things. I'm debating on if I should continue the album reactions/live stages since people are wanting more idol variety content/kdramas more than those. I'm taking some of the suggestions into consideration for coming up with what content will be prioritized when it comes to filming content for here. I think I may end up posting more idol variety stuff over most things, and still keeping dramas running since that's what is supported most. I am going back to emphasizing, leaving likes and possibly comments on posts that you want more of, you'll see me post more of those things that are engaged with more over the next couple weeks. (Feel free to let me know what you think on this below)

I'm also looking into bringing select kdramas to YouTube occasionally, start this other channel and post content for that on a separate YT/Patreon as well. I'm needing some diversity in between all the 60+ min length shows, since it takes longer to complete. It's a bit different for me, for a few of my reactor friends I've spoken to, their audience prefers live stages/albums being posted on their pages, while y'all want the longer length content -- I don't mind this, I enjoy our drama time but there doesn't really feel like a balance. I feel like I'm going to either be watching 2 shows at a time with barely any music related stuff or doing more music things and have them not be clicked on as much. Which makes it takes a lot more time to post a lot less videos with that approach.

In other words, I'm likely about to become more busy. I'm having to take on a bit more to grow our community, hope to raise support to eventually find editors to help me maintain with all of these things, specifically on the anime/kdrama side. With that, I think I will go back to waiting on a Patreon community goal before sharing a public schedule. (I would like to share that I have started to find a form of a schedule that has been helping me on track somewhat on my own.)

I'll likely provide some type of updates or answer any questions if people have them but I don't like sharing before it's been recorded and scheduled. It hasn't really helped lower the amount of inquiries or anything either, even with this way of not providing any dates. I think the problem with sharing without dates is some people only join to watch one specific piece of content, so if I post it on the last day of the month, they feel a way because they've waited XX days for it. It feels like I should emphasize that the main reason you should be here, should be for supporting the creator, secondly the extra content. I'd really hope that there's more than one show, more than one artist that you want to watch stuff with me on, because if it's just one, and it's not often requested or something, then this type of situation may happen too often. I'd even recommend, finding 2-3 series or something that's ongoing/completed that you'd want to watch before joining.

I think I've done well with making sure there's a video going up every other day or so and posting consistently is going to be my main goal, so I'll keep doing that. I streamed a few times after several months and brought myself to post a couple videos on the new channel, that's all great. :)

Lastly, I will be away July 1-9th for a One Piece Symphony with a live orchestra, I'll be bringing some equipment and will likely record a few things while I'm away if there's space to in my accommodations. At the end of the month, July 26-30th I'll be going to  an anime convention with a few friends. Of course, I'll be aiming for content to go up while I'm away for both of those times, but just wanted to let everyone know.

This month would've been 5x harder if it weren't for Caitlin Benson, I hope y'all watch and support her channel. She's been awesome support and a friend for me offering advice, understanding and sharing similar struggles. I will be implementing some of her advice as well.

i love the album reactions! they are the main reason i signed up for your patreon pls don’t stop them 😂

i love the album reactions!!! maybe focus on the albums/live stages during the first week of comebacks, then that'll give you time to space out other content?? idk what your filming days look like but i hope you find somethng that helps you balance out the patrons' wants & what you genuinly enjoy.

I don’t have a good answer for this but I thought everything seemed pretty good so far, I hope it doesn’t come to engagement and then some things don’t get posted as often and then you get more people going “hey where’s this?” But good luck, maintaining another channel/patreon seems like a lot of work don’t get burnt out any farther then you are. I like album reaction but I didn’t come to patreon specifically for that originally, I came when you did treasure box and stayed for all the content, maybe if you can find a balance for all of it like a day to film comeback/album/live stage then a day for dramas and a day for variety content etc and then that would build up the people coming for certain things, in my head it sounds good but I don’t know what it’s like, idk I hope you figure out what what works for you and that you enjoy it
