him constantly asking/mentioning it honestly didn't really bother me as much as it does for yall😂the extra credits is the only thing he had to keep some type of hope for him in trying to stay alive and get back to family,ect. now that he found out its done, all that hope is gone. the need to go to school to better his family's life is gone so of course for him it might be like okay what am I living for now. What's keeping me motivated to stay alive? but nahh we def better get to the bottom of cheols death cuzz like wth.

part 1 was ep. 1-6 & part 2 is ep. 7-10, there's nothing else after that. at least not yet, i don't know if there's gonna be another season??

That's funny. It was useless to me, even with the reasoning of wanting to get his family out the mud. Outside of this situation, it perfectly makes sense, but when you're not even sure if your family is ALIVE outside of when y'all all got enlisted in this mess, why are we still talking about taking a test? Every student is pressing him telling him, bro they're scamming us since episode 3, "We're not going to believe any adults from here on out." and he's just "points, points, points". He's barely even taking any initiative to show support to his classmates unless there's points involved.

I hear that, and I get it, outside of this scenario. It's not enough to keep him going, but, at least, switch the point to being, I gotta make sure my family is okay or something instead after finding out it's done. It's still, let's be delusional about it, IDK, he was the worst character in this show to me. I liked the reasoning of his grind and sacrifice but I think they drove it into the mud (imo). I think the bigger motivation for him to keep going was his family as a whole, not just him shouldering everything to go to good school / try to beat poverty all alone. It also would have made him a lot more considerate towards his classmates to get through these life or death days that they're going through.

ngl i agree with class pres like why do y’all wanna go back to seoul willingly without knowing if it’s gotten any better? hella dead bodies, spheres, and destruction there when they first left like it could have gotten worse but they won’t know unless they go… makes no sense esp when they got a nice setup in a place with way less spheres and a roof over their heads and they have some food stocked up like. (i understand it but) everyone was being too emotional like let’s think y’all 😭 there’s a higher chance of you dying or getting injured on the way TO seoul than there is of y’all seeing your parents IF they’re even alive 😔 as for yeongsoo, i truly think that the test is his only semblance of hope to the point that it’s just pure delusion… i feel like once he accepts that the test is canceled, in his eyes, he won’t have a reason to live.. his entire mentality is deadset on the CSAT, it just feels like he’d snap if that sliver of hope / normalcy for him is gone and idk if he’d take it out on himself or on the wrong person 😔 (obviously to me it’s like, you can always take the test once society is back up and running. his 1st priority should be SURVIVE THE WAR THAT’S GOING ON & 2nd is to FIX THE COMMS DEVICE so maybe they can at least figure out if anyone’s family is still alive even like… but he clearly not in the right headspace AT ALL rn😕) i’m glad the other kids are aware of the situation and accept reality as is for the most part; it just sucks that he’s clearly still not on the same wavelength as them and we 9 eps deep 😬
