As much as I was a bit stuck in between some of these battles, the voting results for Love Me Right felt a bit iffy for me! There's becoming a few trainees that are standing out and some that I may be losing a bit of hope for. Looking forward to see more episodes like these last two to keep the energy up for the runtime! Hope y'all enjoy with me!

youre absolutely right about the evil editing thing.. we don't have to pretend every trainee/idol is super well-mannered, positive, etc. at all times like mnet did not edit in that attitude sorry. it contributes to the toxic perfect image given to idols but also it's just unrealistic people get selfish and messy sometimes. teamwork is hard proper communication is even harder ANYWAYS rewatching this the back door team really ate!! I've never listened to that skz song so when I first watched it it was iffy but now I can really see the performance it was amazing. hot sauce though... i literally had to go watch nct dream perform it bc I was thinking there's no way the original is this messy. i definitely need to get back on twitch to watch with yall next time

everyone did well but i still think that jay, haruto and wumuti were ROBBED, and as an editor myself i do believe that evil editing exists buuuut I agree with what you said, theres a way to communicate things and considering kristyans age he shouldve known better, in the end what matters the most is the way you act after being called out so im looking forward to you watching him change haha and also love the ollie enthusiast agenda!, thats my son right theeere<3 i would love to know your current top 9 tooo

my boy haruto was robbed so hard. i love jonghyun but there's no way he out rapped haruto. the next challenge is one of my fave and has some of the most iconic performances and for me ones that really cemented who i was rooting for. next ep is the elims; not ready to relive that emotional mess haha.

I completely understand why K-group Love Me Right won. Although Jay's high note was legendary, and Haruto is a phenomenal rapper, everyone in the group did not shine that much. Wumuti did well, but others like Anthonny did very poorly during this stage, and you would only know that if you watched the full version on youtube without commentary because it got overshadowed due to the "Jay is a god" editing. However the live audience saw everything, The K-group had stronger individuals like Hanbin, Yedam, and Sungmin, no one on K-group missed a note, and although Jay's high note is more iconic, Hui incorporated way more adlibs and shined in multiple ways other than the one high note, so their win makes total sense to me personally.

It's funny watching this again with you. I forgot how much drama there was in the start. And tbh it could have been somewhat avoided if the teams were made more evenly by not grouping all the lower ranked/low or no star trainees together. They barely have a chance to shine and to grow by being grouped together. But that's just how I felt about the show overall

Lmao seriously tho, as a big czennie and has nct dream as my ult. It hurts seeing them messed up the song so much. Hanbin is the only one that did it for me while the rest were a mess. Cant blame them tho hot sauce is a hard song to perform but I feel like it could’ve been better with a different line distribution. There were some who are already straining and that’s not good. It’d be better if they just lowered down the key just like how they lowered down the intro.

still till this day real life upset by the fact that haruto and jay both were just ROBBED like that. but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense, the fans had a bias for the korean trainees, jay went VIRAL for that highnote yet his score was 66, haruto repeatedly got compliments and had ph1 rooting for him because of how good he was compared to juhyeon yet he lost .. like it just speaks volumes on how unfair the voting was for the global trainees and for hui's case he had his fans and popularity backing him up and this is NO hate to hui because i've stanned pentagon since their debut but realistically speaking jay should have collected way more votes. (if not won). also to speak more on the krystian situation and "evil editing" it infuriates me to no end how much fans love claiming every single conflict was because of evil editing. i agree the music does make everything so much more intense but the fights where they are literally ARGUING going back and forth are not because of evil editing. they say everything themselves. a lot of things krystian was saying was just low down and rude, he was literally cutting kamden off when he's talking. like you said and like we all say you can tell the atmosphere is tense at a single glance to ricky lmao he's always looking right in the camera like "y'all seeing this" lol or just looking SUPER uncomfy. it's also funny that in a lot of these fights ricky is always just there. nobody is saying that krystian is a bad person, but he was being disrespectful. there are gonna be trainees who are not as well mannered or who are being selfish and start fights. but that's LIFE. fights happen especially in this type of setting lmao it's normal and its not always chalked down to evil editing.

because hui got so much hate for winning, i just want to chime in and say that hearing a voice live is a completely different experience from hearing it on broadcast because mnet post processes audio to make it cleaner for tv viewing. the people who were actually there at the venue said jay was great, but hui's voice itself was just SO much bigger than any other trainees. most if not all fan accounts agree he's the only trainee whose voice consistently overpowers the mr at the venue. and that makes perfect sense considering hui has been a professional singer for years and is considered one of the best even amongst active idols, it's kind of a given that his vocalization (the volume) alone is going to be on another level from trainees. it's the same reason why if you hear an opera singer vs a pop singer, regardless of preference you're inevitably going to be more impacted by the opera singer because they're trained to make their voice as big as possible and that's going to captivate you when you hear it in person. even in road to kingdom we saw it when he prepared the special stage with the main/lead vocalists of the other groups. hui would pull his mic back further than the others since his voice is bigger, and if he keeps his mic away at the same distance as them it'd disrupt the blending.

and we love to see it, everyone on twt takes it so seriously, like damn chiiiill
