Holy smokes were they brutal in their comments this episode! I didn't agree with some of the new star rankings but it will be something to see how the signal song goes with all of the complaints of the trainee's vocals. Definitely some standout participants though.

Thank you guys for all the support on the last reaction, I love to see when more of the community here is engaging with what we watch so I'm glad more people are along for the ride.

tbh i started watching this show since i ult pentagon, but i honestly lost interest in it because the talent isn't up to par with previous debut survivals and fans focus too much on visuals over skill 😭 what you said about this 'the real' cover not hitting like dkb's sums it up for me, there are definitely a handful of genuine talents in this show but overall they're significantly weaker than peak time (and other debuted groups) so the performances have all felt just okay for me personally. hui has definitely hard carried the show vocally but boys planet fans dislike him for his age (he's 29) so in terms of singing im expecting the final lineup to be pretty mid too 💀

finals coming up tonight/tomorrow maybe try to avoid spoilers if you can lol, adding comments as i watch, i think everyone agreed that k and g shouldn't have been separated in the beginning but they do put them together later on, google be telling you wrong lol ciipher is still a somewhat active group, jiwoong during this part was actually top two in rankings lol hes famous for the BL acting but was great in inx from what i heard back then but the group go sexually harassed by their ceo and ended up sueing and disbanding, also in the group with jiwoong there had ichan from iland, seunghwan from 1the9 and jongwoo who had debuted before too they just didnt get the highlight, also alot of the performances got cut or edited weirdly, i was sad when hui performed not just because he was performing but the other idols that showed there stories got cut and i know they did well as well and many of the other good trainees its unfortunate that they were cut and only uploaded to youtube later, also they didn't show the full signal song in the episode so if you want to react to that after that would be cool lol, also I don't know if you read the other comments but yeah the judges will seem critical but mnet also cut out/edited a lot of the good they said too for "entertainment" i guess per what judges posted on instagram after so i wouldn't take it so harshly, also are you not going to watch the rankings at the end of the episode? they are right before the previews if you want to get a sense of who are the top trainees at the moment but all in all another good watch with you. I will add if people are going to judge these trainees on only the first episodes and say they are bad then they haven't watched far enough, there are many great vocalist, dancers and rappers in my opinion and many who arnt get better they are still training

I don't get on Twitter like that or anything so I usually don't get spoiled for these shows or popular anime. I will likely watch the rankings once I get more of an idea of trainee's names and who I think will make final lineup, as of now, watching the rankings really won't do much for me cause I've only got about 5 names stored in my memory bank rn lol.

Yes, i read the comments, I know it's typical entertainment/editing and whatnot, I'm just taking it as we get it, I'm sure they gave nice feedback and other things as well that they didn't show. That is quite sad about INX... It seems when watching these shows you have to be fully following MNET's YouTube and the episodes weekly to get a fair grasp on voting, that's a lot!

lol i get you on the only remembering a few names in the memory bank i didnt fully remember alot until like the thirdish fourthish ep, but understandable, i think there are some eps that dont have the rankings too so it made people want to vote for there favs more lol, i only voted for who i could remember doing good at the time/from before the show and i would say you don't have to be following the extra content and cuts on the YouTube i only did because i thought it was more fair to the trainees to see it all, well at least in the first episodes and if you wonder why a rap part or a singing part seemed short/ theres also fun games/behind the scenes they did that were cut from the episode and im a sucker for fun bits but you still get a grasp of who are the standouts through out the episodes and really i only asked about the ranking if you liked someone or remembered a name to see how they were doing, in all honesty you could probably just keep watching till the elimination episode without knowing and still be good/ sad if you remember someone leaving then lol I know the other reactors I’ve seen not watch the YouTube bits either so your all good and yup just wanted to point out the judges get so much hate from there edits mihawk (Baek Kooyoung) especially

I mean to be fair peak time was meant for already debut artists. it makes sense why their skills r more up to par considering BP is meant for trainees. and I wasn't bothered about the whole skills not up to par thing simply because that's the reason for these programs. ur coming for a chance to grow and better yourself in hopes to debut, cant expect everyone to be on a professional dancer/singer level.

oh yeah, this is a thing for too much facial expressions. u had me cracking up getting offended over hui 😂 i wasn't stressing about it. we all know he's a beast when it comes to singing but put that aside. just like he said he knows he's lacking at that moment which makes sense considering he just got out of the military. but just because he acknowledges he knows he's lacking doesn't mean they should just not correct him on it. plus its not like he was the only one getting called out. homeboy having a full party in the room will always send me.

not necessarily, if you look at produce for example there were multiple trainees who were crazy talented and up to par with already debuted idols in skills. most people also chose their top 9 based off positions and thats how kim jaehwan made it into wanna one as a main vocalist 😅 in bp i can count on my hands the trainees who can compete with current idols and everyone is pushing to just vote whoever they find most attractive "because talent can improve but height can't be fixed and looks can't be fixed overnight."

using this as a distraction so thank you for posting lol I hope you finish it. the show is a bit frustrating waiting for the bad ones to filter out so we can get quality performances but everyone fighting for top 9 the past mission up to the finale are definitely the most talented of the show... didn't realize people hated it so much lmao HOWEVER if my two picks don't make it into bepler I'm pretending this show never happened <33

the biggest problem with this show is that they want everyone to be soprano n hit them high notes in a soprano way. Some people are in a group yea n they are rappers. That’s perfectly okay too.
