there's so much odd shit they glossed that i feel like are part of something bigger... the landlady a little weird, the employee at siesta, the people sara had on ivs, and of course do-yeong (the husband). also the gap between the two parts is way too big though they definitely could've dropped part two a month or two after one bc this episode was a complete teaser to how crazy everyone is about to get. my expectations for part 2 is super high hope you're taking care of yourself make sure to get some rest whenever you can 🤍

hahah yeah who tf knows what is going on.... my theory is that the bag stuff with the chief/fortune teller lady probably has to do with a way to ruin yeonjin's mom's life or reputation??? probably some pretty illegal business?? considering yeonjin is also involved with him, it's also something that may ruin her personally too??? since dongeun's plan is to leave her all alone in ruins with no one by her side, I guess she has to "get rid" of that police chief and whoever else does dirty work for yeonjin's family, so they can't cover up all the murders and crimes she has committed... anyways, super excited to see what's to come!

if anything, I'm theorizing the landlady is a mysterious "good" force that will ultimately help dongeun... she clearly has a lot of money/power in the city, so ultimately she may be able to help her ruin yeonjin's family... she seemed to have good intentions since she initially set her rent pretty low according to her... maybe something was done to her family too, maybe a child??? she may also want revenge?? that would be interesting but who knows haha (the siesta employee also seems like she would also love revenge, I'm guessing, dongeun may also be watching those people to slowly get them onto her side)

I think the thing with the chief guy and the girl with the bag is to show that the shaman business (which belongs to Yeongjin's mother) is pimping out young girls, perhaps they are convincing them to sleep with the chief so their fortune gets better or something like that(?). I think Dongeun is trying to gather all this information to then go ahead and end Yeongjin's mother business, maybe sending her and the chief to jail after they get proper proof through Ms. Kang following them or hearing conversations to get to them. It does get really confusing but you gotta stop and think about how this could benefit Dongeun's revenge (her plan is to get rid of things dear to. Yeongjin -- like her mom and the chief -- slowly).
